WWE Monday Night RAW is dealing with some issues this week due to extreme weather conditions in the scheduled host city that could be visibly evident on tonight’s television broadcast.
Tonight’s edition of WWE RAW takes place LIVE from Salt Lake City, Utah, with the Vivint Smart Home Arena serving as the venue for the weekly red brand program.
The show is expected to feature the aftermath of last week’s Randy Orton attack on Edge that came just 24 hours after the “Rated-R Superstar” made his triumphant surprise WWE return in the 2020 Royal Rumble match.
The Utah area that tonight’s WWE RAW broadcast will take place from is currently experiencing — and is expected to continue having — a hellacious winter storm.
According to the latest weather advisory, the city is dealing with significant snowfall (up to 10 inches) and high winds (up to 35mph) that are expected to last into the early morning hours on Tuesday.
This, of course, could potentially wreak havoc with WWE talent and employees trying to get into the city if they were scheduled to arrive today, as the state of Utah is suggesting for anyone with non-essential travel to stay off the roads on Monday.
In addition to wrestlers and employees having trouble getting to the show if they are arriving today, the fans could be another problem that WWE faces, which isn’t even to mention the potential production / technical issues that could arise due to weather conditions.
