Several addition backstage news and notes have surfaced ahead of tonight’s live episode of WWE Monday Night Raw at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. and here they are.
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was backstage at today’s taping and is scheduled to be appearing on Raw. With WWE taping two episodes of the show today (to air tonight and next week), it’s not necessarily certain that he will be on TV tonight, but either way, is expected to be involved in the Randy Orton storyline and there are some rumors that Orton will actually turn on Flair and take him out.
As well there were several re-writes for tonight’s show with a lot of backstage segments and promos inserted in that weren’t previously there.
WWE has trademarked the terms “Justus” and “Hurt Business” which could be a hint as to the identity of the new stable that is expected to debut on Raw tonight.
Additionally, tonight’s episode of Raw will feature the return of Shane McMahon though there is not much being said on why he is coming back or even his role as he hasn’t been around for several months. Shane is going to be introducing a new concept to Raw and that this has “raised some eyebrows” backstage at the Performance Center.
