Andrew Hatcher of Rajah.com wrote the following recap of this week’s edition of Raw Talk.
Hello again everyone, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! This is the first episode of Raw Talk on the road to Wrestlemania 37, and the hosts are Charly Caruso, along with R-Truth. The guests we’ll all be hearing from today are Lacey Evans and The New Day, as well as, Naomi and Lana. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, it’s time to talk!
Charly and Truth welcome the viewers to the ThunderDome, and begin by addressing Truths regaining of the 24/7 Championship. Charly asks for a replay of the footage from what went down, and let’s Truth know she really likes how it happened. Charly says “that’s what you get” when you take the championship from the “rightful owner”. Truth has held the title 48 times now, and that’s pretty crazy. Charly moves on to talking about Alexa Bliss, and Randy Orton. Truth calls the main event segment “creepy”, stating that the blood “looks like licorice”. Charly says Alexa is “off her rocker”, but she deserves to able to get a little revenge, after Orton delivered an RKO last week. The hosts begin to wonder who Edge will challenge at Wrestlemania, and bring on the first guest of the night, Lacey Evans.

Lacey is accompanied by Ric Flair, and Charly asks what in the world is happening between them. Lacey responds with “work smarter and not harder”, and runs down her list of accolades, before stating that within Flairs brain “is knowledge I can use”. Ric gets a chance to explain his side of things, and tells Charly that he “is the reason the business is where it is today”. Flair says that he’s “tired of hearing Charlotte is better” than him, before bragging about HHH and Shawn Michaels looking up to him. Ric finishes the subject by saying “we’re going for the gold, and we’re starting now”. Lacey chimes back in, and wonders how many times Charlotte has “smacked Ric in the face”. Ric tells her that hasn’t happened, but “she would rather me be signing autographs at conventions”. Truth wants Lacey to know that it looks kinda odd when she “rubs on” Flair, and Lacey says “I don’t care what anyone thinks”. Charly decides to keep her opinions on the matter to herself, before Lacey and Ric leave. Charly then brings on the next guest, Naomi and Lana.
Naomi and Lana
Charly asks them both what’s going through their minds, after the win earlier tonight. Lana informs Charly that her and Naomi “go way back”. Naomi adds to that, and talks about how their husbands are “besties”. Lana seems glad to have some support on her battle against Nia Jax, and Charly tells them “revenge is a dish best served cold”. Lana talks about how bad she wanted to eliminate Nia in the Rumble, because of all those times she got slammed through the announce desk. Naomi mentions that Jax and Baszler probably don’t fear them, but she beileives it will “work to our advantage”. Charly asks if they have a team name yet, and Naomi suggests “Ravishing Glow”. After the guests and hosts debate a few ring gear suggestions, Lana and Naomi exit stage left. Up next, the last guest of the night, The New Day.
The New Day
Woods begins by talking about being 2-2 against RETRIBUTION, and he says wants to face Reckoning next week. Woods demands the match, saying that if it’s not booked, “then you’re a coward”. Charly welcomes Kofi back, and Kofi talks about how he’s been listening to Mustafa Ali “talk all that trash”, during his time away. Woods wants to talk about Kofi’s ring gear, and Charly wonders where she can get some clothes like that from. Amazon? They all start talking at the exact same time, and it sounds like a high school lunchroom in here. Woods goes back to yelling about wanting a match with Reckoning, before telling Kofi “I’m so happy you were there”, at the Royal Rumble. Woods starts showing off his Legend Of Zelda tattoos, and Kofi talks about being “closer” to being completely cleared. Woods closes by saying that “best of 5 competitions” are his favorite thing about wrestling, and lays down one last challenge to Reckoning. Charly finishes the show by saying “we have alot to look forward to”, as the show fades to black.
