Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! After the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw came to an end, WWE taped another episode of Raw Talk, which you can watch now on the WWE Network. Raw Talk is hosted by Kevin Patrick, and his co-host, R-Truth. The guests on the show will be Drew McIntyre, The Miz, John Morrison, Dana Brooke, and Mandy Rose. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, it’s time to talk!
Kevin kicks off the show by welcoming the viewers to the ThunderDome, and announces that R-Truth has the 24/7 Championship back. This is his 51st reign with the title… Truth talks about trading Bad Bunny merchandise for “his baby”, and highlights from the segment are shown. The hosts discuss the Raw Talk Headlines, until Kevin brings on the first guests, The Miz and John Morrison.
The Miz and John Morrison
Miz and Morrison introduce themselves to “Danica Patrick”, and Miz talks about being in pain. Miz explains “I am the good guy here”, and “I create ratings”. Morrison wonders if Kevin really talks like that, and Miz says “he’s putting an accent”. Truth asks Miz why he did what he did to Bad Bunny, before telling Miz and Morrison to “respect him”. Miz sends a message to Bunny, and says “if you step in the WWE ring your gonna get hurt”. Miz adds to that, and says “go sell records, don’t step into my ring”. Miz and Morrison start to run down Truth for his trade, which causes everyone to talk over each other. The Miz stops everyone, then says “everyone is only watching this show because of me”. Miz and Morrison leave, and Truth explains to Kevin “it don’t matter how you skin a cat, long as the cat get skinned”!
After a commercial for 3/16 Day, Kevin welcomes on the next guests, Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose.
Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose
Kevin congratulates the pair on their win against Lana and Naomi, and the host makes sure they know his name. Dana begins by telling the hosts “we’re doing everything we can to get the titles”, and Mandy adds “we have the look, we have what it takes, and we want that opportunity”. Kevin changes the subject to Nia and Shayna, and Mandy calls them “a liability”. Dana explains “we’re not done climbing the mountain, and we will keep going”. Dana sends a message to “the little girls out there”, and tells them to always “keep on going”. Mandy chimes back in, and tells the hosts they aren’t just good looking. Mandy elaborates, and says “we can be pretty, and strong, and good in the ring, like Trish Stratus”. Dana talks about the similarities between her and Mandy, calling them “two peas in a pod”, unlike the tag champions. Kevin wonders what a Wrestlemania moment would like for the team, and they tell him “winning the Women’s Tag Team Championships”. The ladies leave, and Drew McIntyre immediately steps in.
Drew McIntyre
Kevin begins by asking how Drew feels, and Drew tells him “I got to watch two heavyweights put on an excellent performance”. Drew talks about his upcoming match at Wrestlemania, and says “I have my match now, I’m cool”. Truth tells Drew “I already know you’re gonna bring the heat, dawg”, and puts Kevin on blast for choosing Lashley. Drew explains to Kevin that “we’re gonna beat the absolute crap out of each other”. Kevin asks about the deteriorating relationship between Drew and Sheamus, and Drew covers their years of friendship. Drew adds to that, and says “big brother has gotten a little bit jealous”. Drew closes by saying “as long as I didn’t do to good, it was ok”, and he could’ve just asked for a title shot. Kevin wonders how Drew feels about being able to perform in front of fans at Wrestlemania, and Drew talks about his goal. Drew tells Kevin “it’s not about the fight to the top of the mountain, it’s about staying on top”, and “I will do whatever it takes to have my moment at Wrestlemania”. Drew leaves, and the hosts thank everyone for joining, as the show fades to black.
That’s all for this weeks Raw Talk Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day everyone!
