WWE Raw Talk Recap

Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Raw Talk Recap! After the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw came to an end, WWE taped another episode of Raw Talk, which you can watch now on the WWE Network. Raw Talk is hosted by Kevin Patrick, and his co-host, R-Truth. The guests on the show will be The New Day, Peyton Royce, and the United States Champion, Riddle. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, it’s time to talk!

Kevin kicks off the show for the first time, and Truth teaches him how to come on the air. They exchange a secret handshake, and Kevin struggles to get it. Kevin says “I’d hate to know how Orton feels right now”, and Truth tells him that what’s going on with Alexa Bliss is “just spooky to me”. Truth continues, and tells Kevin “I don’t trust her, dog”. Kevin begins talking about Bobby Lashley, and the hosts exchange another bad handshake. Truth says “everyone is coming for Bobby”, and adds to that, saying “the championship brought something out of Lashley”. The hosts give their opinions on the most recent happenings between Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, and question how “best friends” could do that to each other after 20 years. Kevin then brings on the first guests, The New Day.

The New Day

Kofi wonders who in the world Kevin is, and Woods is excited because he hasn’t “met anyone new in a year”. Relatable. The New Day guesses Kevin is Irish, and to Truth’s surprise, that’s where Sheamus is from. Kofi explains the “bunny hop” from the segment with Riddle, and Truth explains “all the bunnies are tripping right now”. Kevin asks about the win tonight, and Woods tells him that they have a chance to win the titles next week. Kofi wonders how Kevin’s hips are, and everyone shares a big laugh. Woods talks about possibly walking into Wrestlemania as champions. Woods adds “we gonna put he turkey in the oven”, and become the “W-W-E World Tag Team Champions”. Truth and New Day applaud Human Resources for hiring Kevin, and Kofi makes sure viewers know “those are real claps”. Kevin thanks them for joining, and they leave.

After the segment, Kevin rolls an ad for Wrestlemania, letting everyone know tickets are on sale. Once the show returns, Peyton Royce is already at the desk.

Peyton Royce

Peyton congratulates Kevin on the job, and tells the hosts to “sit there and look like you”. Royce tells everyone “closed mouths don’t get fed”, and says she wants to be let go to see what happens. Royce wonders why she can’t be the one to fill the spot of Asuka, and talks about chasing her dreams. Royce adds that “it actually hurts when you know you are destined to be where you are, striving for what you feel you deserve”. Peyton gets very emotional, and claims “this is where I’m supposed to be, so stop wasting my time and give me Asuka”. Royce drops the mic, and Truth tells Kevin “that was on you”.

After a reminder about the WWE Network Documentary Heaven, the hosts welcome on the final guest, Riddle.

Riddle

The United States Champion makes his way on to the show, and Truth tells Kevin “this my dog, man”. Kevin asks about the scooter, and Riddle talks about seeing “a bunny hop”. Riddle talks about beating Slapjack, and adds that next week he’s got Mustafa Ali. Riddle tells the hosts “Ali is the perfect opponent”, and mentions that the numbers game “may not be in the bro’s favor”. Riddle continues, and says “I’ll put the beats on all of them”, and retain the title. Riddle speaks on his arrogant appearance, and says “I’m just having fun”. Riddle offers up inspirational words, and says as long we give full effort, we will never be disappointed. Riddle talks about the chemistry brewing between Truth and Kevin, and is “mind blown” by what could happen “if you combine our aura’s”. Riddle “plants the seed” for a potential tag team with Truth, and Truth exclaims “I used to be a gardener”! Riddle leaves, as the hosts finally exchange a successful handshake, and the show fades to black.

That’s all for this weeks Raw Talk Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day everyone!
