As noted, WWE referee Tom Castor suffered a badly broken leg during the NXT Omaha house show earlier this weekend.
On Saturday, Castor took to social media to comment on how everything went down this weekend.
“I sincerely want to thank the WWE Universe and the NXT/WWE Superstars for their kind words and positive vibes,” wrote Castor in an official statement released via his official Twitter page.
For those who missed it, WWE released a video of Superstars and talents commenting on Castor’s injury, and wishing him a speedy recovery.
“It’s been heartwarming and humbling to say the least,” Castor continue. “My utmost gratitude to the WWE Medical Staff and E.R. staff at Nebraska Medicine for your care and support.”
Castor concluded, “I’m ready to heal up and rejoin my NXT family doing what we all love to do. #wearenxt.”
