Roman Reigns vs. Edge At WrestleMania 37

WWE Releases Official Announcement Confirming Roman Reigns vs. Edge For Universal Title At WrestleMania 37

It was previously reported that the opening matchup of last night’s Elimination Chamber PPV Event saw Daniel Bryan win the #1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Universal Championship. The WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns then successfully retained his WWE Universal Title against Daniel Bryan.

Immediately following the match, WWE Hall of Famer and the 2021 30-Man Royal Rumble Match winner “The Rated R Superstar” Edge made his way down to the ring and took Reigns down with a viscous spear. Edge then pointed up at the WrestleMania 37 sign as the pyro went off, indicating that he has chosen Roman Reigns as his opponent for The Grandest Stage of Them All.

WWE has now officially announced that Edge will challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37 for the WWE Universal Title, but it was not revealed if the title match will take place during Night One or Night Two of WrestleMania 37. As of this writing, the only match confirmed for WrestleMania 37 is Roman vs. Edge. Updates will be provided once it has been made available.

WrestleMania 37 takes place on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
