WWE Responds To Anonymous Employee Claims

WWE Releases Statement on Employee Accusations

WWE released the following statement to us here at eWrestling.com about the accusations of a current employee who indicated that the company was forcing people to work amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“These accusations aren’t true,” the WWE statement began. “Employees know they can confidentially go to Human Resources, not the public.”

The statement from WWE continued, “Notwithstanding the appropriate protocol, no one would be fired if they were uncomfortable with their surroundings. We’ve made accommodations for individuals upon request.”

For those who missed it, an anonymous WWE employee named “John” spoke out publicly against the company at the Orange County, Florida Board of County Commissioners Meeting on Tuesday morning (Watch Video Here), making the bold claim that the company is “forcing their staff to go to work” despite the “Stay-At-Home” orders and the Quarantine suggestions during the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.
