The fallout from the WWE lawsuit stemming from the heinous Vince McMahon sexual trafficking and assault accusations continues to be felt across multiple WWE businesses.
As noted, Brock Lesnar’s originally scheduled return to WWE was scrapped. As we reported last week, “The Beast Incarnate” was set to return in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at the WWE Royal Rumble 2024 premium live event last month, where he would be eliminated by Dominik Mysterio to set up a match against The Judgment Day member at the WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth PLE, followed by an expected showdown against GUNTHER at WrestleMania XL.
With Lesnar’s involvement in the Vince McMahon situation, those plans were all nixed.
In another update, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and WWE legend was removed from the cover of the new WWE 2K24: 40 Years Of WrestleMania video game.
Lesnar is not expected to be around the scene in WWE for a while, and some people in the company are under the impression that he actually won’t ever return.
Featured below are the original WWE 2K24: 40 Years Of WrestleMania cover art featuring Brock Lesnar along with the updated version, where he was taken out altogether and replaced by John Cena.
As per new gameplay footage uploaded by WWE today, Brock Lesnar has officially been removed from WWE2K24’s ‘40 Years of #WrestleMania’ showcase cover.
