WrestleMania 35 will be getting two more title matches added on the “go-home” week of television this coming Monday and Tuesday evening.
That is, according to John Pollock (@IAmJohnPollock) of POSTWrestling.com.
Pollock is reporting that the latest plans as of Saturday for the WrestleMania 35 card was to include new SmackDown Tag-Team Championship and RAW Tag-Team Championship matches. According to the report, the tag-team title bout for the blue brand at WrestleMania 35 will be a multi-team match.
It was noted that the decision to add a RAW tag-team title bout to the card was made after they removed the originally planned SmackDown Women’s Championship bout involving Asuka (rumored at one point to be Asuka vs. Mandy Rose). After Charlotte Flair captured the Women’s blue brand belt on this past Tuesday night’s show, the plans for the Asuka title defense were scrapped, and the talk of a RAW tag-team title bout began.
WrestleMania 35 goes down from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, April 7th. The show will air live via pay-per-view and on the WWE Network.
