An update on John Cena’s final WWE WrestleMania opponent.
It was reported over the weekend that WWE was discussing Logan Paul as the Cenation leader’s opponent for WrestleMania 41, which takes place in April 2025 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It was noted that the match was not finalized and that things could still change. However, it was also noted that many in creative were not thrilled about Paul being Cena’s final WrestleMania opponent. Well…it looks like they will no longer have to worry.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Paul vs. Cena is no longer on the table. While it is still too early to determine what Cena’s Mania direction will be, many speculate it will revolve around him chasing his 17th world title reign, which would break the all-time record previously held by Ric Flair. If that were the case Cena would either pursue Cody Rhodes or GUNTHER at the Showcase of the Immortals.
Cena revealed in 2024 that 2025 would be his final year as a WWE superstar.
