WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas is just around the corner and an interesting documentary that will air on Peacock appears to be in the work, according to a report by WrestleVotes Radio.
The documentary will tell the story of WrestleMania 9 and be titled “Becoming A Spectacle”, with that event having also taken place in Las Vegas but at Caeser’s Palace. The PPV was widely remembered as the night when Hulk Hogan shockingly walked away with the WWE Title despite not even being in the main event match (Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna) for the championship. In the years that followed, WWE and Hogan in particular received a lot of criticism as many believed he manipulated his way into the title picture.
The report adds that the documentary will have comments from many of the wrestlers who competed on the card including Shawn Michaels, The Steiner Brothers, Lex Luger, Undertaker, Hogan and Bret Hart and that one of the reasons they picked to document this specific PPV is because many of the wrestlers are fortunately still around to talk about it.
