PWInsider.com reports that WWE and GUNTHER have either already agreed to a new agreement or are in the final stages of discussions towards that deal. It would be a multi-year contract.
— Fightfulselect.com meanwhile has a similar report, suggesting that the two sides haven’t yet put pen-to-paper but that WWE sources believe it will happen by the end of the year, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Their report added that the deal will be a “long-term, multi-year” contract and that WWE has been thrilled with GUNTHER’s performance in the ring and also at media events. One WWE official even referred to the wrestler as among the most professional talents that they had ever worked with.
