Multiple outlets are reporting this morning that the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view will be held in San Antonio, Texas.
The 2017 edition of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view will mark the 20th anniversary of the biggest Rumble show ever, which also took place in San Antonio back in 1997 and featured Shawn Michaels winning back the WWE Title from Psycho Sid and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin winning the 30-man over-the-top battle royal.
The official announcement of the Royal Rumble event taking place in San Antonio next year is expected to be made by WWE this coming week.
