Here we go again! The rumor-mill is strong this afternoon, as there is a lot of talk going around about more potential surprise entrants in both the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble Matches at the WWE Royal Rumble 2020 pay-per-view tonight.
As noted earlier today, Dominick (Rey Mysterio’s son) is rumored to debut in the 30-man Royal Rumble match, while the word making the rounds regarding two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair is that he was “brought in to Houston by WWE for tonight’s show,” which likely indicates he has a role of some kind on television.
In addition to “The Nature Boy” and the son of the Master of the 6-1-9, some more notable names spotted backstage at Minute Maid Park in Houston at different points throughout the day today include Shane McMahon, The Undertaker, Christian and Mark Henry.
It’s worth noting that just because various Superstars and talents from the past are turning up behind-the-scenes at the host-venue for tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble 2020 PPV, it does not necessarily mean they will be entering the 30-man (or 30-woman) Royal Rumble matches.
In terms of The Dead Man and Shane-O-Mac, they are obviously the most intriguing talents present thus far that are not actually advertised for one of the matches on the card for tonight’s show.
The Phenom still considered an active WWE Superstar who may very well end up being involved at WrestleMania 36, or WWE’s upcoming return to Saudi Arabia for another major live event.
Meanwhile, Shane has not been seen on WWE television for several months following the culmination and conclusion of his long-running program with Kevin Owens.
In addition to the many *spoiler* updates we have provided thus far, we are currently organizing and confirming a number of additional news updates and rumors from backstage at the venue for tonight’s PPV in Houston.
As noted earlier this afternoon, a big-name legend has been brought in to Houston for the WWE Royal Rumble PPV tonight for a specific reason. Read the full details on that update right here at eWrestling by clicking here.
Another update surfaced and was published moments later regarding an additional established WWE character making a surprise appearance in the 30-man Royal Rumble match tonight.
