WWE Royal Rumble *SPOILERS* For January 26, 2020 Pay-Per-View At Minute Maid Park In Houston, Texas

The updates keep rolling in regarding the Royal Rumble this evening. Here are the latest rumblings and rumors going around backstage at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, the site of tonight's show.

Mike Johnson reported on a PWInsider.com Elite update that WWE Hall of Famer Sting is expected to be a significant part of the upcoming Saudi Arabia live event in February, with the possibility that he may even return to the ring to wrestle for one more match at that event.

While nothing has been confirmed as of this writing, the aforementioned Mike Johnson report adds that conversations about Sting working the Saudi Arabia event are so far along that he may actually show up tonight at the WWE Royal Rumble 2020 pay-per-view to begin whatever story line is necessary to set up the match in Saudi Arabia.

The WWE Hall of Famer lives in Texas, where tonight's show is located, and depending on the direction, could easily be brought in as a late move to avoid the surprise leaking online if and when Sting is spotted in his gear backstage at the host venue for tonight's PPV.

For those wondering if Sting's rumored return match would be against The Undertaker, the current talk within WWE is not tied into that direction on any level, so it would seem unlikely that the long-awaited, highly-anticipated "Dream Match" between "The Icon" and "The Dead Man" is going to come out of this return.

In addition to the many *spoiler* updates we have provided thus far, we are currently organizing and confirming a number of additional news updates and rumors from backstage at the venue for tonight's PPV in Houston.

As noted earlier this afternoon, a big-name legend has been brought in to Houston for the WWE Royal Rumble PPV tonight for a specific reason. Read the full details on that update right here at eWrestling by clicking here.

Another update surfaced and was published moments later regarding an additional established WWE character making a surprise appearance in the 30-man Royal Rumble match tonight.

Finally, a third *spoiler* update has surfaced with rumors about involvement of Undertaker, Shane McMahon, Mark Henry and Christian at tonight's PPV.
