Following this week’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Greensboro, N.C., the card for next Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2020 pay-per-view continued to take shape.
After his victory over Robert Roode in the advertised Tables Match on the Friday, January 17th episode of the weekly blue brand show, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns announced that he will be taking on King Corbin in a “Falls Count Anywhere” match at the WWE Royal Rumble PPV.
In addition to the Reigns-Corbin bout gaining a stipulation for the upcoming WWE PPV, another highly-anticipated showdown got even more interesting on Friday night’s WWE SmackDown show at the Greensboro Coliseum.

After receiving an assist from the Mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee, WWE legend Glenn “Kane” Jacobs early in the show on Friday night, former Team Hell No member Daniel Bryan spiced up his expected showdown against “The Fiend.”
In a backstage interview segment that followed the aforementioned reuniting of Team Hell No, the leader of the “Yes! Movement” challenged WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt to a “Strap Match” at the joint-brand PPV set for next weekend.

Additionally, Sheamus will be going one-on-one against Shorty G. in a new singles match, while Bayley will put her SmackDown Women’s Championship on-the-line against Lacey Evans in a pair of new bouts added to the WWE Royal Rumble PPV on Friday night’s show.
