One of WWE’s top stars and former WWE United States Champion Jacob Fatu could be sidelined for a significant amount of time if a new report from bodyslam.net turns out to be accurate.

According to their report, Fatu is dealing a non-wrestling related injury that is going to keep him from wrestling for an “extended period of time”, which could stretch well into 2026.

Fatu hasn’t wrestled in over a month, last competing September 12 in a match against Rusev. He has been feuding with Drew McIntyre over the last few weeks and based on an angle last week on Smackdown, was scheduled to take on McIntyre on this week’s episode.

Obviously if all of this is true, that match won’t be happening though nothing official has been confirmed by WWE as of this writing.
