The 4th of July episode of WWE Smackdown won’t be a live show.
Earlier today, the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, which hosts Monday Night Raw a few days earlier on June 30, tweeted that on the same night, WWE will be taping Friday Night Smackdown as well. The arena is promoting it as “two shots, one night” which would mean that after Raw goes off the air, the crew will be swapping over to Smackdown branding and taping matches to air on the holiday Friday.
