Last night’s WWE Smackdown Live viewership was up week-over-week, drawing 2.135 million people compared to 2.095 million seven days ago. On the night, Smackdown was #2 in the 18-49 demographic and and 9th in overall viewership. MLB’s Yankees/Red Sox playoff game led the way in both categories, with 7.147 million viewers powering it to first place in the 18-49 demographic.
Last year’s WWE Smackdown Live at this time drew 2.47 million and the 2016 edition drew 2.45 million so Smackdown is down year-over-year. Interestingly, the gap between Raw and Smackdown has lessened in recent weeks with Raw facing the brunt of the fall competition with Monday Night Football and the MLB playoffs underway.
