— Former WWE Smackdown and Raw women’s champion Charlotte Flair is backstage at tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown after being off TV for the last few months. She hasn’t been seen on TV since WrestleMania after losing her Smackdown women’s title to Rhea Ripley.
— Recent reports had noted that Flair was simply taking some time off following WrestleMAnia and she was subsequently seen vacationing with her husband Andrade of AEW in April and May. It is not known if there are plans for Charlotte to appear on Smackdown tonight but the fact that she’s there would seem to strongly suggest that she is ready to return soon, if not today.
