- Karl Anderson is backstage at the show tonight. There is no word on if Luke Gallows or Mia Yim are there as well.
- Even though Stephanie McMahon recently underwent ankle surgery, her husband Triple H is backstage at Smackdown and leading talent/creative as usual.
- Triple H is set to lead an all-talent meeting before Smackdown, which was scheduled to get underway today at 4 PM ET. Obviously, one of the topics is expected to be Vince McMahon’s return to WWE.
- Uncle Howdy is scheduled to be on Smackdown
- WWE had contracted some extras to be serve as officials in a women’s segment that was to take place in the locker room area.
- Internally, WWE is listing a tarot card element with Rey Mystery again this week.
- All creative for Smackdown was set by late Thursday evening, but as always, there is always the possibility of changes right up until the show airs.
