We are less than 24 hours away from the next live event special on the WWE Network, as WWE SMACKVILLE goes down on Saturday, July 27th, from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
The WWE live event will stream live via the WWE Network starting at 9pm Eastern Time, running for an advertised one-hour special block on the digital subscription service.
Advertised for the WWE SMACKVILLE one-hour live special is WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defending his title in a Triple-Threat Match against Dolph Ziggler and Samoa Joe, WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Finn Balor, as well as a special live musical performance by Elias.
It’s worth noting that the official website for the Bridgestone Arena is also advertising Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, and a SmackDown Tag-Team Champion match with The New Day’s Big E. and Xavier Woods defending against a team yet to be announced.
It is possible that these two matches will not air on the WWE Network broadcast of the event, which will feature a traditional full non-televised live event card for the ticket-buyers and fans planning to attend the event in Nashville this weekend.
WWE.com released a video trailer to promote Saturday’s live WWE Network special from Nashville, TN.
The title of the video is WWE Championship Triple Threat Match at SMACKVILLE tomorrow. The description for the video reads: “An explosive Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship will headline the SMACKVILLE special event. Plus, a special musical performance by Elias. SMACKVILLE streams live from Nashville, Tenn., tomorrow at 9 ET/6 PT on WWE Network.”
