New matches for both WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event as well as WWE Evolution on July 12 and 13, respectively, are set to be announced on Friday’s episode of Smackdown which was taped on Monday.

Drew McIntyre made his return to WWE TV in a segment with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton where he was eventually taken out by an RKO, setting up a match against Orton at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Also announced at the Smackdown taping is a match between WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton defending her title against Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. It will be Stratus’ third match of the year, her last bout being a tag team match where she teamed with Stratton to take on Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. The winner of Stratton-Stratus is set to take on Jade Cargill for the Women’s Title at SummerSlam.

Finally, it was revealed that Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will be one of the three teams challenging WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez at Evolution. There is one team from Raw and one from NXT yet to be announced.
