WWE and TNA jointly announced that an Invasion special event will take place on October 7 during the regular NXT TV airing on CW.

PWInsider.com reported earlier today that the backstage word making the rounds at the WWE Performance Center is that Mustafa Ali, Frankie Kazarian, Moose and Mike Santana will all be at NXT this week where Santino Marella, TNA’s on-screen authority, will be naming the wrestlers representing TNA in the Survivor Series style elimination match. NXT’s Ava will also be revealing her team tomorrow.
