The WWE roster left for Saudi Arabia earlier today around 5 PM ET with the company chartering a flight from Miami to carry most of the talent needed for Friday’s Smackdown and Saturday’s Night of Champions in Riyadh.

WWE Executive John Gaburick, who reportedly overseas the production of all of WWE’s Saudi Arabia shows and functions as the liaison to the country flew back to North America from Riyadh to meet with talents and accompany them on the charter flight back to Saudi Arabia. He apparently did this to assure wrestlers and staff that “everything was fine” and that the trip and live events would be business as usual, according to pwinsiderelite.com.
