WWE issued the following injury update on AJ Styles, who is dealing with what is being reported as a separated shoulder that he suffered after enthusiastically selling a Spear by Edge during the men’s Royal Rumble match.
While WWE did not give any firm timetable for Styles’ return, their update does seem to indicate that Styles’ WrestleMania 36 participation is promising.
The official statement released by WWE on Monday afternoon regarding the injury status of “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles reads as follows:
AJ Styles is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury and is recovering way ahead of doctor’s projections.
The Phenomenal One suffered the injury during the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
