WWE PPV details for June are becoming more clear as the Tacoma Dome announced the June 23 PPV that will be held in Tacoma, WA. The PPV will be called “WWE Stomping Grounds” – a new name that WWE recently trademarked. The PPV previously scheduled for June was to be called “WWE Backlash” and was scheduled for June 16 in San Diego, CA but was cancelled due to a yet-to-be-announced event in Saudi Arabia that will take place on June 7. The advertised main event for WWE Stomping Grounds is Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton.
WWE is expected to announce the Saudi Arabia event soon and it is also expected that the scheduled NXT TakeOver show in San Jose for 6/8 will be cancelled as a result.
