WWE will be holding their 2023 SummerSlam Premium Live Event on Saturday, August 5 from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan and as of this writing, 7 matchups have already been made official, with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat Match as the headliner, Brock Lesnar battling “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes in a Singles Match as the co-headliner and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins defending his WWE World Heavyweight Title against Finn Balor also as the co-headliner.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com revealed that WWE SummerSlam tickets have been moving really well since last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, with WrestleTix reporting that SummerSlam has sold a total of 45,420 tickets and 2,281 tickets still remains. WWE SummerSlam has a total seating capacity of 47,701 and 3,214 tickets are available for resale.
