After suffering what appeared to be a serious knee injury on last week’s Monday Night Raw, WWE superstar Zoey Stark is ready to begin her rehab.
Stark posted a photo of her leg on her Instagram stories showing that she has undergone surgery to repair the unspecified injuries. She noted that she’s on “day one” of her recovery.
Stark suffered the injury during a triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match in a spot where she attempted to execute a springboard missile dropkick on Kairi Sane. Unfortunately, the timing was off and Sane was too far away when Stark fell short and planted her knee in such a way that it buckled hard. She was immediately removed from the match and assisted to the back.
While the exact nature of her injuries aren’t known, it is believed that she suffered torn ligaments hence the need for surgery and that she will sidelined for a significant amount of time.
