— WWE brought back Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan on this week’s Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix and whether it was a surprise internally or not, Hogan received a massive negative reaction from the live audience in a segment that flopped so badly that the mainstream media picked up and wrote articles on it. As well, WWE commentator Pat McAfee even poked fun at Hogan by airing a staged/fake press conference mocking Hogan and how he would likely be handling the response.
— On the latest WrestleVotes Radio Backstage Pass, a little bit of insight into Hogan’s future with WWE was shared. WrestleVotes noted that WWE will likely still keep Hogan around in some capacity as his merchandise sales do incredible numbers on WWE Shop. However, it appears that the company will focus more on documentary type interviews with Hogan, feature him on commercials and use him in other such taped initiatives rather than putting him in front of an audience for any sort of live appearance or at least, scaling those back even more.
