WWE’s Big E Lands Guest Role On Upcoming Comedy Series

— Inactive due a serious spinal injury, WWE superstar Big E has landed a guest role on an upcoming comedy series called “Laid”, as reported by Deadline. Nahnatchka Khan was announced as an executive producer and writer on the project. She previously worked on Peacock’s “Young Rock” series from 2021 to 2023 and is the sister of current WWE president, Nick Khan. A synopsis of the series reads as follows:

“A woman who finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past to move forward. It’s described as a f*cked-up rom-com where the answer to ‘Why can’t I find love, is there something wrong with me?’ is a resounding: ‘Yes, there is. The problem is definitely you.'”

— Big E remains on the WWE roster but has been out since early 2022 due to a fractured neck that required surgery. He has since tried to work his way back to in-ring competition but has been told by doctors to retire. Most recently, Big E shared that his neck had failed to build any new bone structure where the injury occurred and thus has not only not received medical clearance to return, but he likely never will.
