– Roman Reigns winning the US Title from Rusev is WWE’s way of keeping Reigns “busy” and out of the Universal title picture for the next little while. As reported before, the company is still trying to get the fans behind Reigns in order to build him as the top star and the feeling is that by using Rusev as the “foreign menace”, fans will ultimately decide to like Reigns as they head into what will be the third WrestleMania cycle of pushing his character.
– The next Raw PPV will be 10/30 in Boston. There is nothing clear for the show but the original plan was to be a Hell in a Cell featuring Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho. Whether that continues forward but with Rollins in there instead of Balor remains to be seen.
