Well, ROH: Final Battle 2018 has come and gone and the future of The Elite appears to be a bit more clear.
Following the show, which was the final PPV for ROH in 2018 and quite possibly the final PPV appearance -- for now -- of several wrestlers that fans associate with the ROH brand, a big post-show in-ring segment took place.
The segment featured The Young Bucks -- Nick and Matt Jackson, as well as Cody Rhodes, Hangman Page, Marty Scurll and SoCal Uncensored, all in the ring cutting a promo about their history with ROH and their future.
Matt spoke of ROH's executives, mentioning Joe Koff, Greg Gilleland, and Gary Juster by name and saying that they have been incredible to work with. He said he wouldn't have become the person or wrestler he is without their support, everyone in the back, his wife, and their families.
From there, Matt said what many took as a tease regarding All Elite Wrestling, as he said, "Everybody in this ring, all of you -- we're all elite, right?"
He continued, stating that the timer is ticking and something big is about to go down. He doesn't know what, but he hopes you watch the Being the Elite digital series to find out.
The crowd chanted "Double or Nothing."
