He then says he and NXT GM William Regal have struck a deal that allows some of NXT’s Cruiserweight stars to appear regularly on 205 Live. Some video highlights airs showing various talents from 205 Live and NXT.

The video opener for 205 Live airs and then we shoot live inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. to pick things up where WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX left off, as this week’s 205 Live is now officially underway.

Tom Phillips and Aiden English welcome us to the show on commentary as the camera pans around the arena and then closes in on them at the announce desk.

Jack Gallagher vs. The Brian Kendrick

From there, we hear the theme music of Jack Gallagher. He comes out to the entrance stage and begins making his way to the ring as the ring announcer introduces him.

We see video highlights from 205 Live last month that shows The Brian Kendrick attacking Jack Gallagher with a kendo stick and then shoot back live where Gallagher is finally waiting in the ring.

After that, The Brian Kendrick’s theme hits and he quickly makes his way to the ring, with Gallagher meeting him half way, blasting him with a big shot on the entrance ramp. The action continues with Gallagher beating up Kendrick outside the ring as the announcers continue to describe their storied rivalry to the viewing audience.

Gallagher hits a running gentlemen’s drop-kick on Kendrick’s face as he was leaning up against the barricade outside the ring. Gallagher rolls in the ring but when he rolls out and walks around the ring, he is met with a brutal kendo stick shot to the gut from Kendrick. The announcers point out that the match never technically started.

Now, it does.

Kendrick goes to work on Gallagher, trying a pin attempt but not getting three. He goes back on the attack. This continues for a while until finally Gallagher starts showing signs of life, mounting some offense of his own.

Gallagher is now enjoying some offensive control as the action briefly spills back out to the floor before returning to the ring. Gallagher misses a gentlemen’s dropkick in the corner. Kendrick slaps on a Captain’s Hook submission on Gallagher in the center of the ring. He crawls to the ropes but Kendrick cuts him off, rolls, and tightens back up the submission. Gallagher rolls Kendrick into a pin attempt to break the hold. Kendrick kicks out.

Back on the feet, Gallagher blasts Kendrick with a gentlemen’s drop kick in the corner. He covers Kendrick but Kendrick gets his foot on the ropes, stopping the referee’s count. Kendrick pulls him to the center of the ring and tries covering him again, but this time Kendrick kicks out.

Now Gallagher goes out to the floor and grabs a kendo stick. The announcers question Gallagher’s logic with this move. Gallagher comes back into the ring with the kendo stick, but is cut off by the referee. After arguing briefly, Kendrick yanks Gallagher and hits Sliced Bread for the win.

Winner: The Brian Kendrick

The Singh Brothers vs. Justin Alexander & Justin Morris

The Singh Brothers are introduced as the first overall picks in the WWE Bollywood Draft as they make their Bollywood style ring entrance as their opponents are already waiting for them in the ring. They appear to be a local enhancement team. The names listed were Justin Alexander and Justin Morris.

Justin Alexander starts things off for his team while Singh easily jumps off to an early lead. Alexander actually gets in brief moments of offense in the early goings while the announcers have a field day in Bankers Life Fieldhouse with the Bollywood references / jokes.

The Singh Brothers utilize tags to keep fresh men on Justin Alexander. Sunil tags in and the announcers call “Lights, Camera Action!” as he comes off the middle rope for a quick double-team spot before Samir went to the ring apron after the tag.

Alexander lands some punches and chops in another hope spot, but Sunil cuts that short and goes back to work on him. Justin Morris now tags in. He takes the hot tag and gets in a little spurt of offense before Sunil blasts him with a spinning heel kick. He tags Samir back in. A super kick into a side-indian leg sweep and then a double super kick from The Singh Brothers set up their finisher — The Bollywood Blast — for the easy win.

Winners: The Singh Brothers

Triple-Threat Match
Ariya Daivari vs. Tony Nese vs. Oney Lorcan

From there we shoot back live inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse where Ariya Daivari’s theme hits. Daivari makes his way to the ring for the advertised triple-threat match to determine the next challenger to NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush.

After Daivari’s entrance wraps up, “The Premiere Athlete” Tony Nese is introduced. The announcers remind us that this match will be no count outs, no disqualifications, with the first man to gain a pin fall or submission winning.

Finally, “The Boston Brawler” Oney Lorcan’s music hits the loud speakers as he stomps his way down to the ring holding his index finger proudly in the air to signify he is number one. With Lorcan in the ring, our 205 Live main event for this week is now ready to roll.

All three guys look around at each other as the referee calls for the bell. The bell sounds and here we go. Nese and Daivari team up and start double-teaming Lorcan straight out of the gate.

After a while of the two-on-one sequence playing out, things end up where Nese and Lorcan are alone in the ring. The two wrestle back-and-forth for a while, with Nese still ultimately getting the upper-hand.

When Nese knocks Lorcan out of the ring, Daivari quickly rolls in the ring behind him and tries to pin him. Nese kicks out and bickers at him for turning on him. Now Nese and Lorcan team up and start two-on-one beating down Daivari.

Finally, Lorcan clears the ring of both guys and starts firing up as the fans cheer him on. Unfortunately for “The Boston Brawler,” he ran face-first right into the knees of Nese on the ring apron when attempting a suicide dive through the ropes to the floor.

Nese takes Lorcan back in the ring and goes back to work on him on the mat. A jaw-breaker by Lorcan gets him out of Nese’s clutches, but Daivari is right in behind him with a reverse-DDT for a near fall. Nese rolls to the floor to recover while Daivari goes to work on Lorcan.

Daivari fires away with punches and then stomps away with boots to the dome as Lorcan is slumped over in the corner of the ring. Lorcan reverses a whip-to-the-corner attempt from Daivari but runs into a big boot. He fires back with a European uppercut, but Nese comes in from behind to pick up where Daivari left off, taking it to Lorcan.

Nese gets a near fall on Lorcan and is now hammering away with ground and pound on “The Boston Brawler” in the center of the ring as the fans in Indianapolis shower the squared-circle with boos. Now Daivari and Nese are in the ring with Lorcan at the same time for the first time in a while. Daivari, fears the fans are warning Nese not to trust him again, yells, “Hey, shut up!” which is loudly audibly heard on the WWE Network broadcast.

While Daivari jaws at the WWE Universe in Indianapolis, Nese puts the boots to Lorcan. Now the two team up for a double-stalling-suplex. Lorcan was held up in the air for what felt like an eternity. Nese and Daivari high-five each other and as soon as Nese turns his back, Daivari blasts him from behind. He follows up with more punches in the corner on Nese but then runs into an elbow from Lorcan. And another.

Lorcan launches himself off the middle rope into Daivari. He climbs up to the top turnbuckle on the other side of the ring and again hurls his own body at Daivari. Nese hops on the apron and Lorcan runs and knocks him down to the floor. He follows that up with a suicide dive splashing onto both guys on the floor. He goes back into the ring and climbs to the top, flipping and hurling himself onto both guys on the floor for another big spot. He rolls both guys back into the ring and then pounds the mat, getting the fans to give him energy with their cheers.

He charges at Daivari and Nese back-and-forth, over-and-over again as they are each positioned in opposite corners of the ring. He hits a double-running blockbuster on both guys. He tries covering both, but only gets a two count on each pin attempt.

The action picks up now as the finish appears to be drawing close. Nese with a spinning turn kick on Daivari. Daivari fires back with a big move for a near fall. Now bodies are everywhere as the three Superstars recover from what has been a grueling battle.

Nese is sat on the top turnbuckle. Daivari yanks Nese down onto Lorcan and then tries covering Lorcan, but only gets two. Daivari tries setting Nese up for a big move but walks into one from Lorcan instead. Daivari rolls to the floor. Nese with a double stomp on Lorcan. Nese with a flying flop onto Daivari on the floor. He misses a 450 Splash attempt on Lorcan, who gets back up and hits a Half And Half on Nese for a very believable near fall that was broken up at 2 1/2 by Daivari.

Lorcan with a superplex on Daivari off the top. Nese hits the ring and sets Lorcan up. He hits his finisher on him and covers him. 1-2-3. Tony Nese wins.

Winner: Tony Nese

After The Match: Tony Nese Calls Out NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush

The announcers question what 205 Live GM Drake Maverick will think of Nese’s big win with Lio Rush’s return forthcoming. After celebrating some, Nese rolls to the floor and yanks the headset off of Aiden English. He congratulates Lio Rush on becoming the NXT Cruiserweight Champion but vows to take back what is his.
