As noted, former WCW Executive Vice President and WWE executive / on-air performer Eric Bischoff recently spoke with the assistant manager of combat sports content at Sportskeeda, Riju Dasgupta, for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.

In addition to previous excerpts from the interview, where Bischoff spoke about working behind-the-scenes with Erick Rowan, advice he has for AEW President Tony Khan and other topics, Sportskeeda released another new excerpt.

In the latest excerpt from the new one-on-one interview, Bischoff talks to Dasgupta about what he believes is a significant weakness that Brock Lesnar has as a performer, and why pairing him with Paul Heyman was the perfect solution for said-problem.

Featured below are some more highlights from the new Sportskeeda interview with Eric Bischoff where he touches on his thoughts on Brock Lesnar's key weakness as a performer and how Paul Heyman fills that gap.

"Take Brock Lesnar, for example. There isn't anybody better inside of the ring, especially given his size and everything else; there isn't a better heavyweight champion in the world in terms of credibility and technical skill, and the ability to do amazing things in the ring. But, Brock Lesnar's strength wasn't necessarily his microphone skills. And that's where Paul Heyman came in.

"Paul Heyman could tell a story in a much more effective, entertaining, and dramatic way than Brock Lesnar could. So, having Paul Heyman as the advocate, as he likes to be called, for Brock Lesnar makes a tremendous amount of sense."
