They circled each other. Shamrock nailed a right and several kicks before taking Fulton down with a running knee. He grabbed an armbar but Fulton muscled him up and slammed him into the buckles. Fulton worked over Shamrock, who made a comeback. Fulton missed a big boot and was caught on the ropes. Shamrock nailed him and he went over to the floor. Shamrock hit a dive over the ropes but was caught. He escaped and nailed a release German suplex on the floor. He nailed several knees to the face on the outside, then clotheslined Jake Crist on the floor.
The referee tossed The Crists. Shamrock was worked over and hit with a chokeslam. Fulton went for another but Shamrock caught him in an Kimura. Fulton was able to break free but was hurt by the move. He refused to back down and went at it with Shamrock again, but was caught and tapped out.
It looked like Fulton may have legitimately hurt his shoulder towards the end. He is getting checked out backstage.

Josh Mathews and Don Callis welcomed everyone to the PPV and talked about the main event. They showed footage of Tessa Blanchard coming into the building. They then showed footage Rich Swann’s recent injury. They wondered what would happen with the Tag Team title bout.
X-Division Champ Ace Austin vs. Trey
They went back and forth with some nice action early. Austin hit a reverse flip to the floor and whipped Trey into the barricade. He worked over Trey in front of his mom on the floor. Back in the ring, Trey began to mount some offense but Austin took his knee out and began stomping him. Austin kept attacking the knee. Trey tried to make a comeback but was nailed with a kick and a slammed him down for a close two count.
Austin locked him in a Grapevine submission and then tied his arm up as well. He pulled out a playing card and used it to give Trey a papercut between his finger. Ouch. Austin beat Trey’s back over and over. Trey came back with a double stomp and went to the floor, whre he leapt up and kicked Ace in the head. He ascended to the top but missed his move. He saved it by landing on his feet and locked on a submission. He went to the ropes but Austin met him with a big forearm. Austin rebounded off the ropes but Trey swept his legs and hit a springboard DDT off the ropes for a two count.
Austin avoided a charge in the corner and nailed a kick off the ropes for a two count. He placed Trey on the ropes but Trey escaped and kicked Austin, trapping his head under the turnbuckle. Trey nailed a 619 and went to the top but Austin knocked him off the top and hit his finisher, scoring the pin.

A good, physical match.
Trey’s mom checked on him at ringside. He left. Austin asked Trey’s mom for a kiss. Trey returned and attacked Austin and began working him over. A bunch of officials ran out to stop this, followed by the other Rascalz.
ODB was interviewed about her Knockouts title match. She thanked the fans for their support. She said she’s getting a new run and will be the five-time “Knocked Up” champ.
Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie vs. Jordynne Grace vs. ODB
They did some back and forth spots. Grace powered Taya up and ODB nailed a bulldog over the top. Taya nailed a big knee strike to the face on Jordan but ODB broke it up. Taya was sent into the buckles. Grace charged ODB but was caught with a big elbow. Grace took her out and went to the top for a big back senton splash. Taya broke up the pinfall at the last second.
Taya tossed Grace to the outside on the apron. She was sent into the ropes by ODB, who nailed a TKO. She went for the cover but Grace nailed a Vader Bomb off the ropes onto them and covered each of them for near falls.
ODB and Grace battled back and forth. Grace nailed a Michinoku Driver and went for the cover but John E. Bravo distracted the referee on the apron. Grace went after him. Taya covered ODB as Bravo dragged Grace from the ring.

Katie Forbes interviewed Rob Van Dam. He said he was going to put his energy and attention where it matters, kissing her. He said he will take care of Brian Cage first.
Rob Van Dam vs. Brian Cage
Lots of RVD and Katie Forbes chicanery. Cage was drilled by RVD and taken out. The word is that he’s hurt again. Daga and several referees stopped RVD from using a chair, Cage was taken to the back, RVD attacked Daga and they rang the bell…
Rob Van Dam vs. Daga
RVD worked over Daga. He went for a monkey flip out of the corner but Daga kicked him as he was executing it and went on the warpath with kicks. RVD was sent from the ring and Daga hit a bodypress to the floor.
Back in the ring, Daga went to the top but missed a double stomp. RVD used a pinfall combination for a two count. Daga nailed a gutbuster and a splash for a two count. Forbes grabbed Daga’s leg, allowing RVD to nail a spinkick, then a corkscrew legdrop.
RVD went to the top and hit the five star frog splash for the pin.

They did an angle to get around the Cage match, but the Daga vs. Van Dam match was fun while it lasted.
RVD, his girlfriend and his girlfriend’s girlfriend celebrated in the ring. They all started kissing each other.
Backstage, OVE refused to let anyone speak to Sami Callihan.
Michael Elgin vs. Eddie Edwards
This was a stiff war from the start. They brawled to the floor, where Edwards nailed a big suicide dive, only to see Elgin smash him. Elgin set up him up on the apron and nailed a DDT to the floor. He brought Edwards back in the ring. The crowd chanted for Edwards. He fought back and nailed a big splash in the corner, only to be caught with a twisting Perfectplex.
Elgin massacred Edwards with a big forearm in the corner. He nailed him with a hard whip into the corner. Edwards and Elgin battled back and forth. Edwards ducked a clothesine but missed a kick and got caught in the ropes. Elgin drilled him. He went for a suplex but Edwards twisted and they crashed over the ropes to the floor.
Edwards caught Elgin with an overhead suplex on the floor. He nailed a big dive to the floor. Back in the ring, Elgin caught him coming and nailed a big elbow. Eddie caught him on the ropes and charged with Elgin on their back, dropped him down. Elgin nailed a big forearm. Edwards cut him off but was caught with a fierce uranage. Elgin was caught with a back suplex but popped up and massacred Edwards with some massive forearms and clotheslines. It was evil. Edwards still kicked up at the last second. The crowd chanted for him.
Edwards and Elgin battled back and forth with slaps and punches. Elgin peppered him with chops and forearms. Edwards ripped off his elbowpad to respond but was caught with a clothesline. They nailed each other with clotheslines. Finally, Eddie nailed a huge lariat and a sit-down powerbomb for a two count. Huge pop for each of those moves. The crowd chanted more for Eddie. Edwards hit a rana into the corner. Elgin fired back with some stiff kicks.
They battled to the top rope, where Elgin executed a huge belly to back superplex for a close two count. Elgin nailed a big lariat and hit a huge sit-down powerbomb for another close near fall. This match is awesome. The crowd rallied behind Eddie, chanting his name. Edwards made a comeback but was cut off and trapped in a crossface submission. He fought for the ropes as the crowd chanted for him. Edwards finally made it to the ropes.
Elgin measured Edwards and lariated him, then hit a Bucklebomb. He went for another but Edwards caught him with a sunset flip and scored the pin.

An excellent back and forth match that told a great story and was just physical as hell. My favorite thing on the show thus far.
Rhino cut a promo saying he was going to cut Moose in half with a gore.
No DQ: Moose vs. Rhino
Moose was dressed like Macho Man from the 80s. There was brawling and weapons galore. Big ECW chant for the first table break. Moose hit a series of high dropkicks in the corner. There was a superplex into the ring on a group of chairs. Rhino gored Moose through a table but Moose pulled the referee in front of him and there was no one to count the fall. A second referee came to the ring. Moose came back and speared Rhino for the pin.

Impact Tag Team Champions The North vs. Rich Swann & Willie Mack
Backstage Rich Swann was told they would not even allow him at ringside because they knew as soon as Willie Mack was in trouble he would get involved to help.
The North played the numbers game and screwed with Willie, tagging in and out, even when they hadn’t made contact with him. As you might imagine, it was all North early on. Alexander tied up Mack on the mat, wearing him down. Mack tried to fire back but was cut off by Page. Just as I wrote that, Mack turned it around and hit a DDT on Page and began working over Alexander with big forearms. He nailed running clotheslines in opposite corners, then nailed a Fallaway slam on Alexander. Mack missed a standing moonsault.
The North tried to double team Mack but he caught Alexander with a sitdown powerbomb. Page interfered and broke up the pinfall but was tossed to the floor. Mack scored with several shots in the corner and nailed an exploder suplex for a two count. Alexander caught Mack with a DVDR. The North double teamed him but again Mack kicked up. The crowd came to life for that.
They set up Mack for a double superplex but he started drilling them with punches to ward them off. Alexander got knocked onto Page’s shoulders. Mack dove off and hit a Canadian Destroyer on Alexander, which was AWESOME. The place exploded. Page was tossed to the floor and hit with a flip to the outside. Mack hit a big splash but the referee was pulled outside by Page. The North swarmed him with double team moves and strikes before scoring the pin.

With a challenger unable to work and a champion sick as a dog, this had zero business being as great as it was, but it was great. Fine work by all involved.
They announced the 2020 Rebellion PPV for NYC’s Terminal 5.
Impact Champion Sami Callihan vs. Tessa Blanchard
Callihan attacked her before the bell and nailed a piledriver for a two count. Tessa kicked up. He placed her on the top but she bit him on the face and came off, nailing a Codebreaker for a two count. She nailed a pair of dives, but on the second, Sami caught her and tried to swing her into the barricade. She turned it into a rana. Tessa went to the top and hit a flip to the floor on Sami, Tessa chants.
Blanchard worked over Sami with right hands on the floor. Sami grabbed a soda from a fan and smashed her face with it, then ran her hard into the buckles. He shot a snot rocket on her. Blanchard came up selling her knee. Callihan smashed her leg into the ringpost several times. He ripped her kneepads off and locked on a Death Lock submission. Callihan drilled her down with a stiff forearm.
Blanchard tried to fire back with right hands but was caught and driven down to the mat for another two count. The crowd chanted for Tessa as Callihan looked at them with disgust. Callihan placed her leg on the ropes, but then stepped onto her stomach. He leapt and came down on her bad leg several times. Blanchard shoved him away and he missed an elbowdrop. Blanchard fired back with right hands and forearms but was nailed and went down. Callihan tossed her to the floor and followed. She went for a rana but was caught and powerbombed through a table.
Callihan played to the crowd expecting she was going to be counted out but she rolled back in. Callihan went back to the floor and pulled the mats away from the flogor. They battled on the apron, ripping at each other’s faces. Blanchard nailed a lung blower on the apron. Ouch! The referee almost counted them out but they returned to the ring right before the ten count. Callihan began arguing with the referee.
The crowd began chanting for Tessa. She nailed him with a big right. Callihan fired back with a hard chop across the chest. Callihan teased a punch but faked out and kicked the bad leg. He rebounded off the ropes but she caught him with a Fallaway slam. Tessa charged but he kicked her away. He went to the ropes but she kicked his legs out from under him and nailed a DDT off the ropes for a close two count.
She went to the top but missed and went down grabbing her knee. Callihan picked her up for a double underhook backbreaker over the knee for a two count. The battle continued. Tessa nailed a cutter for a two count. They were both spent and the referee began counting them both down. Blanhard recovered first but Callihan caught her with a powerbomb. He covered her and at the two count, he turned her over into a Stretch Muffler submission. Blanchard fought to the ropes. She began to go down. The referee checked her arms and on the third drop, she came to life. Callihan pulled her hand away from the ropes but she was able to put her leg across the bottom rope.
Callihan grabbed the Impact title belt. The referee tried to stop him and Callihan spit in his face. He took the belt and gave it back to ringisde. Blanchard kicked Callihan low and came off the top with another inverted Codebreaker, driving his head into the mat for a close two count. Callihan bit her on the hand and nailed the Cactus Piledriver but again, she kicked up. Tessa caught him with a forward roll for a two count.
They battled back and forth. He spit on Tessa. She drilled him with a series of rights. Tessa nailed a Canadian Destroyer, then hit another. She did Sami’s thumbs up, thumbs down, then hit a DDT and scored the pin.

A really great back and forth match to close the PPV.
Big pop for the title win.
Blanchard cried in the ring over the title belt. Her mother and siblings hit the ring and hugged her. Blanchard took the mic and thanked everyone and said this has been the last 8 months of her life. She said everyone is human and makes mistakes but if you are going to talk about her, she is one of the strongest people that can be and she’s the best wrestler in the world pound for pound. She said she’s the Impact Champion.
Impact stars and producers came out on stage applauding her. She hugged everyone and was then embraced by her future husband Daga. Everyone lifted her on their shoulders and they headed to the back.
