Advertised for the Tuesday, February 23, 2021 edition of IMPACT Wrestling, Deaner & Jake Something continue their personal rivalry in a Tables Match, as well as much more action! The next chapter in the war between Violent By Design and Jake Something is set to unfold this Tuesday on IMPACT! as Deaner collides with Jake in a Tables Match. After Jake was victorious in their first meeting at No Surrender, VBD sent him a violent message in the form of a powerbomb through a table. Now the former family members are set to collide in a match where the only way to win is to put your opponent through a table! Will Jake Something finally be able to put his issues with Deaner to rest or will Violent By Design continue to assert their dominance? All this and more starting tonight at 8/7C on AXS TV and Twitch!

As the February 23rd, 2021 edition of IMPACT Wrestling kicks off as the clock chimes 8:00 p.m. (Eastern TIme), we enter Skyway Studios Arena in Nashville, Tennessee as we are welcomed by tonight's commentary team of D'Lo Brown and Matt Striker who are sitting at the announcer's table to have an up-close and personal seat for tonight's action. After a quick run down of the matches already advertised for this evening's episode of IMPACT Wrestling, we officially start tonight's action packed show!
Jake Something vs. Deaner
We head into the ring at Skyway Studios for the first official match-up of the evening. Out first is Deaner as his entrance theme sounds in the arena and Deaner makes his way down the ramp, entering the ring as he awaits his opponent for this evening's Table Match. Out next as sparks begin to fall around the stage as Jake Something makes his way to the stage and his entrance theme plays over the speakers. Deaner makes his way down the ramp and circles the ring before climbing to the apron and posing, then entering the ring with his opponent for the evening. The referee signals for the bell, and this first match-up is officially underway! To start things off, Deaner rushes in at Jake, hitting a Flurry of Forearms to get the action started!
In response, Something shoves Deaner who goes flying across the ring. Something then makes his way to ringside where he grab one of the tables set up on the outside of the ring. As Something tries to unfold the table to set it up, Deaner takes advantage of the lapse in time as he dives through the ropes. Something then retaliates with a heavy Right Hand on Deaner to create some space between the two. Next, Something grabs a table and slides it into the ring where he then sets it up. Something then heads in to grab Deaner, Deaner quickly steps aside, and uses Something's own momentum against him as he shoves Something face-first into the table he himself just set up!
Deaner follows up by shoving Something's faced into the table once again. Deaner heads back out of the ring where he starts looking around ringside for another table to set up inside the ring. Something also heads for a table, stopping to land a few heavy strikes on Deaner before setting up another table between the apron and barricade. Both Deaner and Something are on the apron as Something gets a hold on Deaner, stopping him mid-air, then sets up for a Powerbomb! At this point, Something isn't able to land the Powerbomb as Deaner successfully slides out from the back. Deaner then counters as he is able to slam Something into lower part of the table. Something heads to the top turnbuckle as he's set to land a Superplex on Deaner.
Deaner is able to evade the attempt as he grabs hold of Deaner's hair and counters with a Snapmare from the top turnbuckle to inside the ring! Something then follows up as he hoists Deaner up, but Deaner breaks free and counters by dropping Something onto the steel stairs at ringside! Next we see the two begin to brawl up the ramp as the match continues on, Deaner looking for a DDT on Something, to no avail. Instead Something is struck with a Big Forearm from Deaner. Deaner then heads towards Something who looks for yet another Powerbomb attempt, but Deaner hits a Low-blow to stop Something in his tracks! Something is furious at this point and gets a hold on Deaner where he proceeds to slam Deaner through the table for the victory!
Winner: Jake Something

Commentary notes that this will is the second match Something has come out of victorious against Deaner since December 2020.
Moose Interrupts Post-Match Celebration
Something celebrates inside the ring when suddenly Moose comes out of nowhere and ambushes Jake Something with a Spear through a set-up table. Moose then proceeds to pull out a chair and calls Rich Swann out for a Championship match!
Jake Something Assisted Backstage
As we return from the commercial break, we see the Impact Wrestling Officials and Referees assisting Jake Something to the backstage area to get checked out by the Impact Wrestling medical team.
In-Ring - Moose
We then return to the ring where Moose awaits his Impact World Championship match. At this point, the Executive Vice President of Impact Wrestling, Scott D’Amore, makes his way out as his music hits the speakers of the Skyway Studio arena. D'Amore starts off by demanding that the TNA World Champion gets out of the ring. After that, D'Amore also mentions that for Moose's information, Rich Swann isn’t even in the building tonight. As D’Amore continues on, he does in fact grant Moose a title match, but states that it will not take place tonight.
D'Amore then announces that Moose’s self-proclaimed championship is officially sanctioned. Tonight, Moose will defend his TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Jake Something after interrupting his big win.
The commentary team then states that part one of the No. 1 Contender’s match for the X-Division Championship!
Trey Miguel, Willie Mack & Josh Alexander vs. Chris Bey, Black Taurus (w/Decay) & Ace Austin (w/Madman Fulton)
We head back to the ring for the next match-up of the evening as we see the entrance for both teams before the match officially gets underway. After both entrances, we see the referee in the center of the ring as he signals for the bell. The bell rings and the second match up of the evening is officially underway! To start things off, Chris Bey is in for his team while Trey Miguel is in for his team. Bey heads in at Trey, Bey focusing on the arm of Trey as he locks in a Wristlock eawrly on!
Trey is able to break the hold and quickly turns the match around as he takes offense and gets a Waistlock on Bey for an assisted take-down in the center of the ring! Next, Trey has Bey in the center of the ring and rolls Bey through with a Crucifix pin, but Bey quickly gets his shoulders up at two. At this point, Bey makes his way to his corner as he makes the tag to Ace Austin who quickly makes his way in the ring. Josh Alexander is in for Trey. Alexander side steps Austin, who goes crashing into the middle turnbuckle. Alexander makes a tag out to Willie Mack.
At this point, Austin rolls over for a tag out to Black Taurus. Taurus heads into the ring where he meets Mack in the center of the ring. Mack changes the pace by bringing Alexander back in. Black Taurus temporarily has the upper hand as he chops away on Alexander. Alexander counters with a dragon twist that manipulates Taurus’ shoulder. Taurus climbs up ropes and lands a Corkscrew Moonsault to send us into the next commercial break.
As we return from the commercial break, we return to the ring where both Bey and Alexander are exchanging Chops as they attempt to out-do one another. Bey looks for a Hurricanrana, but Alexander is able to successfully counter with a Powerbomb! Next we watch as Alexander makes his way back to his teams corner in order to make a tag out to Trey. Trey enters the ring and immediately locks in a Pendulum Submission on Austin. He then follows up by jumping on his back to break the hold. Willie Mack is tagged in by Trey. With that we watch as all out chaos breaks out inside the ring. Mack and Austin are the legal men in the match.
Quick Irish Whip reversals from Mack turn into a heavy forearm to Autin’s face. Mack looks for a cover. Austin kicks out. Austin secures The Fold on Mack for only a two count! Black Taurus and Trey square off. Taurus sends Trey crashing with a powerful backbreaker. Alexander slides back in with a suplex on Taurus. Bey sends Alexander out with The Finesser. Mack stops Bey in his tracks but misses a splash off the top. Bey flies off the middle rope with his Art of Finesse for the pin-fall victory!
Winners: Chris Bey, Ace Austin & Black Taurus
After the Match
As the victors Chris Bey, Ace Austin & Black Taurus celebrate their victory, we are informed by commentary that next week, these three will face off in a Triple Threat Match to determine who will face TJP for the X-Division Championship.
Backstage: Sami Callihan
After the match, we head backstage where Sami Callihan quickly catches up with Trey Miguel. Callihan then proceeds to once again continue to taunting him from last week. Miguel has enough and snaps on The Draw.
Next we head into a paid advertisement, AEW’s Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone, along with several other familiar faces from the roster, announce what fans can expect from tomorrow’s Dynamite!
Havok is begging Nevaeh to rethink about them remaining a tag team. Nevaeh is still undecided if she wants to be a tag partner or a singles competitor. Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb try to recruit Havok to their team. She declines their offer harshly.
XXXL vs. The Good Brothers
Karl Anderson and Larry D kick things off. They both go for a collar and elbow lockup. Larry D pushes Anderson towards the ropes. Anderson fires back before tagging Doc Gallows. Gallows plants a fall-away slam before making a tag out to Anderson. Anderson keeps Larry D in their corner as he makes another quick tag out to Gallows. Larry D escapes with a tag to Acey Romero. Gallows pushes Romero towards his corner and lands a couple of shots before bringing Anderson back in. Romero shoots back with a series of shots which sends Anderson over towards their corner. Romero gets a tag out to Larry D.
Larry D puts a rear chin lock on Anderson. Anderson has quite a distance to go to get the bottom rope. Anderson rises to his feet and fights out with several elbow shots on Larry D. Anderson tags Gallows back in. Gallows lands a big boot on Romero, who steps in. Gallows lands another big boot on Larry D. Anderson connects a back elbow on Romero who makes it up on the apron. The Good Brothers send Larry D away with the Magic Killer for the pinfall victory.

At Johnny Swinger’s Palace
Next we head over James Storm and Chris Sabin are having a great time at their new hangout. Rohit Raju and Shera come in and crash the party. Sabin doesn’t want anyone to fight. Swinger states he wants to set up a match between Storm and Raju tonight!
Next we head backstage where FinJuice is hanging out when suddenly The Good Brothers make their way over to say hello. The Good Brothers have to rub it in again that they’re the best World Tag Team Champions in the world. FinJuice knows this, but they still aren’t impressed.
Eddie Edwards vs. Brian Myers
Out first for the next match up of the evening is Eddie Edwards as his entrance theme sounds in the arena. Edwards makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring as he awaits his opponent for the evening. Next, Brian Myers makes his way out to the ramp where he then proceeds to inform Eddie Edwards that he can’t compete tonight. Myers continues on to use his lawyer as an excuse as to why he can’t wrestle tonight. Myers states that his lawyer is worried about his eye injury, so a replacement will be announced.
Eddie Edwards vs. Hernandez
Next we hear the entrance theme sounds for Hernandez as he makes his way to the stage as his entrance theme sounds inside the arena. Hernandez makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, but Eddie Edwards doesn’t wait for Hernandez to fully make his way down to the ring before he flies through the ropes towards Hernandez, landing on Hernandez with a huge Dive. Hernandez makes his way back to his feet where he proceeds to send Edwards crashing onto the apron. Hernandez then quickly makes his way to the top turnbuckle for a high flying move!
Edwards catches him with a high Superplex! Hernandez makes his way back to his feet and attempts to turn things around in the match-up with a Big Body Press. Edwards slips out of the Border Toss to send Hernandez away with the Boston Knee Party. Eddie Edwards picks up the victory!

Backstage - Brian Myers
Following the match, we head backstage where Matt Cardona quickly catches up with Brian Myers who won the match moments ago. At this point, Scott D’Amore steps in and informs him that the Impact doctor has cleared Myers to compete in an Eye for an Eye match with Cardona as the referee. But before he leaves, D’Amore jokes about what an absurd type of match that would be.
Next we are informed that we’ll find out who will become the No. 1 Contender for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship!
Susan and Kimber Lee (w/Deonna Purrazzo) vs. Jazz and Jordynne Grace
As we head into the next match-up, we get the entrances for both teams as they make their way to the ring for the next match of the evening. The referee signals for the bell. The bell rings and the match begins! Susan goes right for a waist-lock on Jazz. Jazz reverses it with a takedown. Jazz rolls her up. Susan gets her shoulders up at two. The reset. Susan locks in a side headlock. Jazz breaks free by pushing Susan towards the ropes.
Next we watch as Jazz lays a forearm down followed by another pin attempt and a kick out. Deonna Purrazzo breaks up Jazz’s momentum on the outside. Jordynne Grace tries to make her way in, but the referee tries to push her back towards her corner. ODB runs out to even the odds on Purrazzo. The referee finds both ODB and Purrazzo too distracting that he ejects them from ringside.
As we return from the commercial break, Kimber Lee is now in the ring. Jazz lands a nice back kick to break free from Lee. Lee catches Jazz with a big side slam for only a two count. Lee drags Jazz over towards her corner for a tag out to Susan. Susan rolls Jazz through with a Snapmare/Sleeper Combination. Jazz rises to her feet. Susan sends Jazz shoulder-first into to ring post. Susan makes the tag out to Lee. Jazz and Lee collide head-first into each other. They crawl over to tag in their partners.
Jordynne Grace plants Susan with a Spinebuster. Lee jump in and quickly breaks up the attempted pin-fall. Jazz and Jordynne join forces with a great Flapjack Suplex. Jordynne attempts to go for the cover to no avail. Grace throws Susan into the corner with a low German Suplex. Susan escapes a lock with a thumb to the eye. She looks for a cover, but Jordynne kicks out. Lee sneaks in with a combo move. Susan twists Jordynne up with an ankle lock. Jordynne rolls over and sends Susan out cold with the Grace Driver. Jordynne Grace and Jazz have now become the new No. 1 Contenders!

Jordynne Grace and Jazz find ODB knocked out. They call for help.
TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Moose (c) vs. Jake Something
As we head into the main event match-up of the evening, which is a TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match-Up, we head to the ring as we await the first entrance of the evening. As Moose's entrance theme sounds, Moose begins to make his way down the ramp towards the ring when suddenly Jake Something sneaks up from behind with an ambush attack just as the champion is making his way down to the ring. Their match will continue right after the break.
As we return from the final commercial break of the evening, we return to the ring where Jake Something is seen throwing Moose around at ringside. As the two finally make their way into the ring, the referee signals for the bell, the bell rings and this main event title match is officially underway! To start things off in the actual match, Moose lands a nasty chop. Moose takes Jake off his feet and sends him face-first into the apron. Jake sidesteps out of the way from a spear in the corner. Jake whispers something at Moose before connect a heavy forearm. Jake picks up the momentum with a powerful sit-out powerbomb.
Moose kicks out! Moose comes back into this with a missile dropkick before Jake goes crashing down on the mat with a big superplex! Moose positions himself in the corner with Lights Out, but Jake counters with another huge sit-out powerbomb! Moose keeps himself alive with another kick out. Both men slug it out with back and forth forearms. Moose plants Jake with two Uranages before sending Jake away with his Lights Out spear for the pin-fall victory. Moose retains his championship.

After the Match
The Impact World Champion Rich Swann makes his way down to the ring to stop Moose from using a chair on Jake Something. Scott D’Amore comes out and announces that on Saturday, March 13, at Sacrifice, Swann will put his titles on the line!
