WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN RESULTS (04/30/2021)

Pre-Show Opening

The Friday, April 30th, 2021 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown opens with the recently updated WWE... Then... Now... TOGETHER opening sequence to play us into tonight's show airing on FOX Network.

Video Package

Tonight's edition of SmackDown kicks off with a video package that highlights the importance of the Reigns vs Bryan match as Reigns' Universal title is up against Daniel Bryan's (SmackDown) career!

Inside The ThunderDome

As the video package comes to an end, we see pyro go off everywhere around the ThunderDome in Yuengling Center at Tampa, FL as we get a glimpse of the digital audience that surround the monitors in the audience around the ring. Also at ringside, the announcer's table where Michael Cole sits as he tells us there is a big fight feel in the ThunderDome and we're brought to you by an insurance company and advertised in a show that doesn't provide insurance! Cole and Pat McAfee have their normal opening banter as the show gets underway.

In-Ring - Bianca Belair

The entrance theme sounds for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair as she makes her way out to the stage for a pop! The EST of the WWE makes her way down the ramp towards the ring as Cole and McAfee send us into a video package to hype Belair!

As the video package comes to an end, the SmackDown Women's Champion is standing in the center of the ring, twirling her long braid as the crowd begins an "E-S-T! E-S-T!" chant that forces that eye-squinting genuine smile to form across the face of Bianca Belair! Belair begins to clap along as she gets a bit turnt up at the audience shouting. "Ladies and gentleman, as the EST of WWE and your SmackDown Women's Champion... it is my pleasure to welcome you to the cool-EST, the dop-EST show on FOX... Friday Night SmackDown!" The crowd pops once again. Belair then says, "Now, put your hands together, for..."

Dirty Dawgz Interrupt

Before Belair can complete her sentence, she is interrupted by the current SmackDown Tag-Team Champions, the Dirty Dawgz members Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. As they make their way to the stage, they have microphones in hand as they state that if Belair is gonna kick off SmackDown, she needs to do it right. "We do it with the Dirty Dawgz, tell 'em big man!" Ziggler states. In response, Robert Roode says they're going to kick it off with the SmackDown Tag-Team Champs, Dirty Dawgz! Ziggler then adds, "We are gonna do... what we do, because we are the BEST at what we..." Ziggler is not able to finish his sentence as they are now interrupted.

Street Profits Interrupt The Dirty Dawgz!

Suddenly the entrance theme sounds for The Street Profits members Angelo Dawkins, and the EST's man, Montez Ford as they make their way out with blue cups in hand. Inside the ring, Belair throws her hand up and begins to once again turn up as she sees the Street Profits at the top of the stage. The Dirty Dawgz are standing close to ringside on the lower part of the ramp. "I don't think the champs were expecting this..." commentary states as Ford looks to Dirty Dawgz to speak. Ford says, "Look, I know this is, SmackDown, but did the Dirty Dawgz just INTERRUPT the SmackDown Women's Champion? The MAIN EVENT at WrestleMania this year?!" In response, Angelo Dawkins states, "Oh yea, I believe they did, fam!" Ford then adds, "You know what THAT means..." and as Dawkins responds that he does... suddenly THEY are interrupted!

Bayley Interrupts EVERYBODY

Before The Street Profits can tell us "what that means"... the entrance theme for Bayley sounds in the arena as Bayley makes her way to the stage. Apparently no one gave Bayley a microphone before she came out... so she shouts loud enough for everyone to hear, "This is still my show right? ...I don't care if your the champion or you made a mess of the division or not!" as she walks past The Street Profits as well as The Dirty Dawgz to stomp up the steel stairs into the ring. Bayley then stomps up to the SmackDown Women's Champion and SNATCHES the microphone out of her hand as she goes to continue her rant. Bayley laughs at Belair and keeps on laughing until Belair drops her for a pop. Belair wants Bayley to fight. Bayley tackles her and mounts her with strikes. The Profits and the champs hit the ring now and they start brawling. As we head to the first commercial break of the evening, the brawling continues.

The Street Profits & Bianca Belair vs. The Dirty Dawgz & Bayley

At this point, the match is turned over to the male teammates as both Bayley and Belair make the tag in their corners to continue the match.

Dolph Ziggler of The Dirty Dawgz makes his way into the ring just as Angelo Dawkins is tagged in as well and entering the ring to continue the action. To start off, Dawkins connects with a shoulder tackle that takes Ziggler down to the canvas just as Dawkins makes the tag to his tag-team partner, Montez Ford. Dawkins stays inside the ring with Ford as the two begin to double team their competitor inside the ring. Ziggler and Roode are hit with an outside dive from Ford.

At this point, Bayley throws Belair into the stairs. In the ring Ziggler hits Ford with a super kick that causes Ford to roll outside. Bayley misses in the corner and hits the turnbuckles. A distracted Ford turns around to a big superkick from Ziggler. Ziggler goes for the pin but Ford rolls to the floor to recover. Ziggler follows and brings Ford back in. Ziggler tags Roode in and they double team Ford in the corner. Roode with a big Uranage in the middle of the ring for a 2 count. Roode works Ford around the ring now, using the middle rope as the referee warns him.

Bayley rocks Ford with a cheap shot. Roode and Ziggler with more quick tags and offense. Roode with a suplex on Ford. Ziggler covers for the pin and keeps Ford grounded as Belair and Dawkins rally for him. Ziggler with a big running splash to Ford in the corner. Ziggler and Roode mock Ford now. Ziggler runs in but Dawkins slams him. Dawkins with a running bulldog to Roode. Dawkins with a twisting neckbreaker to Roode but Ziggler breaks the pin up at 2.

Belair comes in and struggles to get Ziggler on her shoulders for the KOD but she gets him up. She immediately has to drop him as Bayley runs in. Belair rocks Bayley with the right hand and then hits the KOD on h er. Dawkins and Roode are going at it again. Roode rolls Dawkins up with a handful of tights but Belair slaps him in the back with her hair. Dawkins with The Anointment on Roode in the middle of the ring.
