In a classy move, the House Of Glory: No Limit event in New York City on Saturday night — which featured the return of The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley) — was dedicated to the memory of late independent pro wrestler Matt Travis.
Bubba Ray, a.k.a. Bully Ray, and Devon, a.k.a. D-Von ended up delivering their signature 3D finisher, complete with a table spot, as The Dudley Boyz made a special return at the show held at the NYC Arena this weekend.
While Bully Ray admitted that he never personally met the late Matt Travis, he took to social media after Saturday night’s event to announce that the return of The Dudley Boyz, and their 3D spot in particular, “was for Matt Travis.”
“Devon and I have not been in a ring together for over [three years],” wrote Bully Ray via his official Twitter page after the House Of Glory: No Limit event. “And although we didn’t know him, last night’s 3D was for Matt Travis.”
