Paul Heyman is “high” on Shayna Baszler and Ricochet, it was mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio recently.
The company is trying to position Ricochet as a top star as they feel as if he can be a hit with teenagers.
As noted in a previous headline, this demographic is one that WWE is targeting to win back and according to the report, one that is vulnerable to switching over to AEW which is what is specifically concerning WWE.
Ricochet has been pushed the last few weeks and is it believed to be due to Heyman’s influence. Even though Heyman’s official position wasn’t announced until this past week, he has been involved creatively for a while with his influence getting more and more significant as the weeks went by.
