Bill Goldberg Wins WWE Universal Championship At WWE Super ShowDown 2020

A new WWE Universal Champion was crowned in Saudi Arabia on Thursday afternoon.

At the WWE Super ShowDown 2020 special event, which streamed live on the WWE Network from the Mohammed Abdou Arena at The Boulevard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a WWE Hall Of Famer became a two-time WWE Universal Champion.

Bill Goldberg defeated “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in the main event of Thursday’s show, taking out the now former title-holder with his “JackHammer” for the pin fall victory after a handful of spears failed to get the job done.

The announcers speculated that with the win, being a WWE Universal Champion isn’t a part time job, and that Goldberg is likely for tomorrow night’s post-Super ShowDown episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
