WWE Monday Night RAW (August 3, 2020)

Show Opening

The WWE Forever logo plays us in to the opening theme for WWE Monday Night RAW for the August 3, 2020 episode airing live from the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. It is announced that we are now Just two weeks away from the pay-per-view event, SummerSlam. Byron Saxton, Tom Phillips, and Samoa Joe on commentary and are shown sitting at the announcer's table at ringside. The lights go out and everything is pitch black. They return quickly. Again, Phillips states, "We apologize, something must have went wrong from our live feed truck..."

United States Championship Title Match
Apollo Crews vs. MVP

As the lights return, Phillips continues to break down tonight's RAW. Apollo Crews interrupts as Phillips is breaking down tonight's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW. Crews makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. The lights go out. Saxton states there is currently weather difficulties in the area after Phillips asked, "Are we still on the air?" Out next is MVP accompanied by Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. The match is officially announced as MVP wears his self-made Championship belt. MVP visibly upset as Apollo is announced as the champion. The referee holds up both Championship belts.

Somebody needs to drop some truth gems on the people, because at Extreme Rules, you didn't show up. Lashley put the Full Nelson on you, and you made excuses... while I made history. After tonight, our beef is done, as I will go on as the REAL Champion, and you can hang out in catering like you're supposed to." MVP drops the mic. The referee signals for the bell. The bell rings and the first match of the evening is officially underway!

The two superstars circle the ring, Crews flips MVP across the ring, the match heads to the canvas with a creative grappling match. Crews pins MVP for the two count, Crews gestures, "that close" to putting MVP away. Stomp to the left foot of Apollo Crews. The lights continue to flicker as MVP lands an Uppercut on Crews, followed by a Forearm Strike. Crews Clotheslines MVP followed by a Snap Suplex for a 2 count.

Apollo Crews with control of MVP's arm. MVP with a Big Forearm, knocking Crews to the mat. Crews responds with multiple Forearms and Strikes of his own. Hurt Business pulls MVP out of the ring. Crews off the ropes, running and flying over the top rope, landing on all three members of the Hurt Business as we head to our first commercial break!

As we return from commercial break, commentary discusses how this match originally was supposed to take place at the Horror Show at Extreme Rules, but Apollo Crews wasn't medically cleared. Since that night, MVP has told the world he is now the United States Champion, going as far as to having a customized championship belt made for himself.

MVP has taken control since the break, according to commentary. MVP looks concerned as the lights continue to flicker as MVP gets another two count on Crews. Crews goes up top and hits a Crossbody, building his momentum and turning this match around. The crowd pops!

Spine Buster by Crews, followed by the cover. Release German by Porter, Crews says no, Toss Power Bomb for the three count and the win!

Winner and STILL United States Champion: Apollo Crews.

After the Match

Bobby Lashley quickly enters the ring trying to get the Full Nelson, Crews is able to slide out under the underhook and head up the ramp, leaving Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin angry inside the ring!

After-Match Interview Backstage - Apollo Crews

We head backstage where Charly Caruso is waiting to interview the winner of tonight's United States Championship Title Match. Apollo Crews walks up all smiles with his US Championship belt over one arm, and the one that MVP had made personally over his other.

Crews admits there was a risk of losing the title due to Lashley, "Bobby Lashley is unlike anyone. Because of Lashley, I was stuck on the couch, unable to look in either direction." Crews then states"How does that look Charly? It looks so good. All I got to say is Thank you P. I really appreciate it!"

MVP Responds To Apollo Crews' Interview

We return to the ring, MVP states, "What kind of show are you running? With lights flickering on and off, I can't even work in these... I don't even know what to call these conditions. I don't care about your wife, I don't care about your kids. What I care about, is my re-match. I want my re-match Apollo!"

Benjamin whispers in MVP's ear, MVP adds, "and I want that re-match, at SummerSlam!"

Backstage - Golden Role Models

Sasha Banks and Bayley are backstage laughing and chatting as they hold their championship belts. Then we flash to another area of the backstage area.

Backstage - Mystery Figure

A man standing in the shadows is stated to be the "brain child" of Shane McMahon.

Simple, we have all the gold. Me, Bayley Dos Straps and her, Sasha "Two Belts" Banks. Ding Dong, hello, that might work on everyone else, but that doesn't work with all we've accomplished. Role the footage! Now! Now...

Video Package

A movie-trailer voice over gives a play-by-play of how Bayley and Sasha Banks obtained "all the gold" to become the holders of all the current Women's Titles available to them.

"Revenge will be very, very sweet!" "Are you kidding me Sarah, how unprofessional."

Shayna Baszler walks up, "All right, all right... You, have snaked your way into this championship. I've waited long enough." Baszler strikes Banks across the face, Bayley kneels down to her aide.

Iiconics walks up to Kevin Owens and state they know that Owens hosts the KO Show, and they want to be guests. Owens says he would love to have them on, but not tonight, he already has a guest, he plans these things ya know. He offers them both a water as he walks off.

Kevin Owens In-Ring

Kevin Owens music sounds as Owens makes his way down the ramp towards the ring where the KO Show will air LIVE, after the commercial break.

The Kevin Owens Show

As we return from commercial break, Kevin Owens welcomes us to The Kevin Owens Show! Owens states there are big things happening, and one of them is Shane McMahon is here on RAW tonight. Owens then states he wants to welcome his first guest, Ruby Riott! Riott's music sounds in the Performance Center as she makes her way down to the ring, er, "set" of The KO Show. Owens welcomes Riott and thanks her for being here. Owens adds Riott beat Peyton Royce, her first victory in a while. Riott states she's had pretty bad luck, and was unable to win a singles match since February.

Riott said last week, she finally got the win on The Iiconics, the only thing that would have made it better, which would be to have Liv Morgan with her to celebrate. Owens states he got a little excited, but wanted to welcome his next guest, Liv Morgan.

Liv Morgan Joins The KO Show

Liv Morgan's music sounds as a very serious looking Morgan makes her way down the ramp and joins Ruby Riott on the KO Show set. Riott looks nervous, Morgan enters the ring. Owens asked Morgan here to hear what Riott has to say. Owens says he has seen what Riott, Morgan, and Sarah had to together, as Sarah has moved on, he still believes The Riott Squad could reign once again.

Owens says he asked them here because he saw them when they started here in WWE as the Riott Squad, and they were great, they had something special.

And just because Sarah Logan has moved on doesn’t mean they should be done, and as great as they are individually, they bring the best out of each other as a team. He speaks from experience, he’s done crappy things to a lot of people because he thought it was better for his career, but he doesn’t know if it was really worth it.

It might be cheesy, and they don’t have to be friends, it’s just worth hearing Ruby out. Riott says when she came back she thought everything would be the same, but everything was different, and she saw Morgan thriving and thought maybe she didn’t need her, and that hurt. Then Liv beat her twice, and she thought she definitely didn’t need her, and she wasn’t ready for that.

Riott begins, "when I came back, I thought things were going to be the same, and I was wrong. This place was different, you were different. I realized you might not need me, and you had come into your own. Then you beat me, then you beat me again. I took it out on you. Our debut date is on my leg and on the back of your neck, and every time I see it..." Riott stops as tears well up in her eyes. She finishes by stating all she wants in another chance for the Riott Squad to be stronger than ever.

Iiconics Interrupt

Peyton says everyone is so tired of hearing the back and forth and the social media posts. no one cares. Liv should have stayed in the bathtub, and they’re so tired of all of Ruby’s social media posts about her one emotional win. They have dominated the tag team division, they conquered WrestleMania and will always be better than the two of them.

Liv says that she and Ruby might not be iconic, but they agree on one thing— no one starts a riot better than they. Kev says he thinks their message is pretty clear and unless the Iconics have something else to say, they should leave and let them carry on with their business. Peyton challenges them to a match right here, right now. (Van Halen is kicking ass in America?)

They bicker over who should say the thing and KO calls for more technical difficulties. Peyton slaps him, he asks if that was necessary, and then Billie Kay slaps him! Without any emotion, Owens nods, and turns to Liv and Ruby stating, "Ladies... a little help please?" Liv and Ruby attack Iiconics members Billie Kay and Peyron as we head to commercial break!

Iconic Duo (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) vs. Riott Squad (Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott)

As we return from commercial break, the match is officially underway! Kay and Riott to start, Ruby in control, ducking punches but she takes a throat thrust and Billie follows with a straitjacket neckbreaker! Tag to Royce, grinding Ruby down, quick tags, the usual. Morgan tags in in short order, comes in hot, dropkick gets a nearfall on Peyton but Billie makes the save and forces the tag. Finally, Liv Morgan with the Schoolboy, holding Billie Kay down for the three count pin and win!

Winners: Riott Squad (Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott)

After the Match

The Iiconics go to take Morgan out but Riott makes the save and lays them out! They hoist Billie up and hit a double-team STO on her. We then return to break.

Backstage Interview - MVP

Back from commercial, Charly Caruso is on the scene backstage with some knocked over road cases with equipment spilling out of them that may be the cause of the technical difficulties tonight.

Montel Vontavious Porter rolls up to complain that the focus isn’t on his loss today, but he’s confident he’s getting his match at SummerSlam and he’s gonna win the title then.

Shelton Benjamin Enters

Shelton Benjamin rolls up and says somebody stole *his* title belt, and MVP leaves with him, promising to teach whoever a lesson.

Drew McIntyre - In-Ring Promo

Drew McIntyre makes his entrance and gets on the mic. McIntyre says Randy Orton has spent twenty years preying on vulnerability, and talks about how he’d rather slip in after a match and hit the RKO, but that’s on him. Randy warned him, and he thanks him for that education, saying it’ll never happen again. He says they’re both equally motivated, and at one time or another, Vince McMahon himself look them in the eye and told them they were the chosen one, the future of this industry.

He paces a beat before continuing, admitting that things didn’t go according to plan. Edge said it best, this wasn’t his Plan A, B, C, or even D. He didn’t lie awake as a kid thinking about how he’d make it to WWE. He talks about Orton’s early accolades, that got fed to him on a silver spoon because of who his dad was.

He says he made mistakes and got fired for them, and he deserved to be fired. He’s spoken to so many people around here over the years, and he’s spoken to people that cleaned up Randy’s literal crap, and he should have been fired way more times.

Enter Randy Orton

He asks Drew if his respect for him isn’t enough, and if he doesn’t want to be here... why is he here? He’s here every week because he loves it, and he appreciates it. He should have been fired over and over again, yeah, but he wasn’t, and Drew was. Why? Because he’s more valuable to this company than McIntyre ever will be.

He says Drew is saying all these things that everyone else has, and challenges him to come up with one original thought about Randy Orton. McIntyre says he’ll shoot, sure, and says he thinks that Randy represents everything that is wrong with WWE. He talks about the Undertaker pulling him up to his level, because he wants to preserve this industry, but how many times has Orton returned the favor?

Drew talks about when he was self-destructing when his mother was sick, and a kind word from a guy like Randy Orton might have been enough to pull him out. All he sees when he looks at Orton is a selfish prick, and he’s got a whole bunch of receipts to cash in at SummerSlam. He promises he’s gonna kick Randy in the head at SummerSlam.

Backstage - Nia Jax

Nia Jax is seen chatting backstage with an agent to send us to break.

Backstage - Kevin Owens, Riott Squad, and Ric Flair

Back from commercial, Kevin Owens is chatting with the Riott Squad when Ric Flair rolls up.

He wants to talk with Owens alone and the Squad leave. Ric talks about history with him a beat and says he thinks he’s turning into a guy that helps folks out more than a guy that looks out for himself. Kev says he gets it but he’s sacrificed so much over the years to get to the top and now he’s trying to take a different path, to be the person he wanted to look up to in the locker room.

Flair says that’s pretty strong and he’s in Orton’s corner, so he’s gonna give Owens some advice he needs to hear. Mind your own business, take care of Kevin Owens, and maybe you get a title match at SummerSlam. Kev says if Ric is so worried about his career, he’ll show him what kind of fight he has, next week against Randy Orton.

Video Clip - Nia Jax and Pat Buck

We get a replay of Nia Jax assaulting road agent Pat Buck last week.

In-Ring - Nia Jax

Buck is in the ring with Nia and she says she really takes to heart the millions of us who idolize her, so when a spindly little run of a WWE agent steps to her, it’s her responsibility to step back. She knows Pat is looking for an apology, but instead she’s looking for an opportunity to prove her wrong. She wants a match!

He says he was only here because he expected an apology, and she says he’ll get one, after their match. This is his big opportunity, one that he’d never get without her. She provokes him further, and he suspends her indefinitely without pay! SHE PULLS HIS JACKET DOWN AROUND HIS ARMS AND SHOVES HIM DOWN!

Nia kicks Pat out of the ring!

The 24/7 Championship scene comes barreling through to send us to break.

Akira Tozawa vs. R-Truth vs. Shelton Benjamin (c) (WWE 24/7 Championship)

As we return from commercial break, R-Truth is out first. Commentary notes that R-Truth has a game on the WWE Network. The referee signals for the bell, the bell rings and the match begins. Commentary also notes that the 24/7 Championship rules are suspended during this match. Benjamin comes in strong, Tozawa tries to surprise Benjamin. Benjamin with a Power Bomb! Akira rolls outside the ring; R-Truth chops Shelton a few times before Shelton takes control, using his grappling style to gain the upper hand. He gets Truth down on the mat and stomps him repeatedly until Tozawa comes in. Tozawa channels his chi and tries to surprise Benjamin, doing a series of "strikes" to Benjamin's chest that did nothing. Benjamin gut kicks Tozawa before hitting a massive powerbomb. He then goes after Truth in the corner, but here comes Truth slinging out of the corner. Truth with the gut kick and goes for the Scissors Kick but Benjamin instead hits the Paydirt! A masked ninja runs in and shows off his form, but Benjamin kicks him in the face and takes him out of the ring. Two more ninjas are up on the apron but the Hurt Business runs to the ring and takes out the ninjas! Shelton's got a ninja in the Full Nelson outside, leaving it open for Tozawa to come flying off the top turnbuckle onto Truth in the ring and winning the title! He hightails it out of there!

Winner and NEW 24/7 Champion, Akira Tozawa!

Curious Backstage - Shane McMahon Announcement

We finally see inside the room and there are two men fighting and pummeling on a ring without ropes as others, wearing face masks, pound on the ring. Shane tells us he's debuting Raw underground at 10pm tonight (the final hour of Raw). We go to commercial without any elaboration.

Video Clip - Dominick Mysterio Last Week

As we return from commercial break, we head into a video clip that recaps the events leading up to this week between Seth Rollins and Dominic Mysterio.

Backstage Interview - Dominick Mysterio

Mysterio is asked how he is able to return week after week to the Performance Center where he has the risk of being seriously injured. He says it may be crazy to keep fighting Seth Rollins, but it’s easy he literally saw his dad blinded, so he thinks it’s understandable that he hasn’t been in the right place of late, and if anyone thinks he’s crazy now, they’re REALLY gonna think he’s crazy after he challenges Rollins to a match at SummerSlam.

Shayna Baszler vs. Sasha Banks

As Baszler enters the ring, we get a replay of Shayna Baszler interrupting Sasha Banks and Bayley's interview backstage. Out next are The Golden Role Models. Sasha Banks turns backwards and shakes her butt at Shayna as Banks entrance theme sounds in the arena. Bayley shouts, "You're an idiot, Shayna!" from the ramp as Banks continues to the apron. "Do you not know who I am?"

Banks slaps Baszler across the face, "I am the Boss, I am Legit..." Baszler doesn't allow Banks to finish, dropping Banks to the canvas.

Banks says, "Are you serious?" Baszler responds, "It never shoulda been you, it shoulda always been me!" as she Leg Sweeps Banks to the mat.

Baszler locks in an Arm Bar, Banks gets to the bottom rope. Bayley interjects and distracts Baszler long enough for Banks to gain the upperhand and get a pin attempt. Baszler kicks out of the roll up at 2. Baszler with a Back Breaker of sorts, landing Banks hard on the canvas. Baszler looks for the Karafuda Clutch, Banks drops out. Banks with the Banks Statement.

Baszler seperates the hands of Banks, Banks counters. Baszler with a hard kick at Banks. Asuka attacks Bayley from behind, slamming Bayley's head on the apron then runs in the ring as Sasha Banks runs out of the ring and huddles up against Bayley against the barricade at ringside. We head to commercial break.

Match Ended and No Reason Announced...

Back from commercial, Asuka is interviewed in the ring.

In-Ring Interview- Asuka

Asuka is asked about the current medical Status of Kairi Sane after being attacked by Bayley last week. Asuka responds, stating Kairi Sane will be okay, but she’s not here now. What she wants is a rematch against Sasha Banks at SummerSlam!

Enter Shayna Baszler

She says she’ll be cheering for Asuka to win the entire time, because she’s gonna be so excited to dismember her and take the Raw Women’s Championship off of her.

Enter Sasha Banks and Bayley.

Banks has a message for both of them— this is her title, but she’ll give Asuka her title match if she can beat Bayley next week. Bayley is blindsided by this announcement.

Backstage - Angel Garza, Andrade, and Demi (from "The Bachelor") ...and Zelina Vega

Demi from The Bachelor is backstage with Angel Garza talking to Andrade when Zelina Vega walks up. Demi introduces herself in a cheerleader type tone, Vega mocks her and says she knows who Demi is and she doesn't belong here. Angel Garza states she DOES belong here. Vega states if she DOES in fact belong here, then she and Angel need to have a talk.

Quick Announcement

Angel Garza and Andrade both have Singles Matches with Street Profits members Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, when we return from commercial break.

Another Sneak-Peek Of RAW Underground

Once again we head to an undisclosed location where Shane McMahon is watching an underground wrestling match and then some female dancers on RAW Underground... Tonight. We head to commercial.

RAW Underground

We return from commercial break to head back to the undisclosed location for more underground wrestling quick matches hosted by Shane McMahon, "Who's next?"

Announcer's Desk

Phillips, Joe, and Saxton state Shane has a good idea on his hands, and they will continue to update us on the on-goings of the RAW Underground.

In-Ring - Street Profits

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins make their way down the ramp and enter the ring as both members of Street Profits grab, Dawkins states he wants to talk to Garza's "friend". They then discuss the fact that they were attacked by Garza and Andrade last week.

Angelo Dawkins (w/Montez Ford) vs. Angel Garza (w/Zelina Vega, Andrade). Dawkins shoulder blocked Garza into the ringside barricade heading into a break during the first 30 seconds of the match. [C] Demi was shown watching the match on a monitor with the rose in hand. Dawkins was in control until Ford fell down. Phillips asked what happened. Dawkins asked if his partner was okay, then he turned into a kick from Garza, who stomped and pinned him. Demi was shown clapping.

Angel Garza beat Angelo Dawkins

After the Match

We see Montez has managed to sit on the floor with his back against the announcer's table. Dawkins rolls out to check on him as we're reminded that Ford takes on Andrade after this commercial break!

Montez Ford vs Andrade

We come back from the break and this match is already underway. Andrade has a rear waist lock around Ford, but he reverses and slaps on his own rear waist lock. The announcers mention that the medical staff cleared Montez to fight, but they don't know what happened during Dawkin's match. Ford locks in the side headlock, and takes a knee. Andrade reaches under Ford and hits a belly to back suplex. Andrade now takes control, pushing his knee into Ford's back as Ford is draped across the middle rope. The ref breaks it up. Andrade hammers Montez with two big blows, then catches Ford draped over the bottom rope and cranks his neck back against the middle rope until the ref breaks it. Montez tries to get up but is very shaky. Andrade beats him and sends him outside. Andrade slowly paces around the ring as the ref counts, reaching Ford at the count of five. Andrade with a knee to Ford. Andrade gets cocky, allowing Ford the chance to slingshot whip Andrade into the barricade hard. Both men make their way into the ring. Ford stomps Andrade hard twice. Andrade escapes to a corner, ducking under the ropes by the turnbuckle, forcing the ref to caution Ford back, opening up an opportunity for Andrade to storm out the corner. Andrade takes control now, nailing a snap suplex and getting a two. Andrade locks Ford into a side headlock on the mat, but Ford powers them both to their feet and starts to throw elbows into Andrade. Andrade with a quick shot, but Ford bounces off the ropes and takes out Andrade. Ford rebounds off the ropes and leaps, taking Andrade down again. Andrade is up in the corner and Ford charges, taking a kick to the sternum. Down goes Ford. Andrade climbs the top turnbuckle and sits there, only to be caught with a leaping dropkick as Ford yells "sike!" Andrade is sent to the outside. Ford grabs the ropes and builds himself up, getting ready for something big...and suddenly collapses. The ref immediately rings the bell, and Dawkins and medical staff come in to check on him. Ford lays there, staring at the ceiling as we cut to:

Backstage w/ Murphy & Seth Rollins

We see a close-up of a cell phone, playing back footage from last week when Murphy helped attempt to blind Aleister Black. The camera pulls out and we see it's Murphy holding the camera. Rollins is standing with him, and tells Murphy that he made the right decision last week. He applauds Murphy's actions last week against Black. Murphy asks if Seth's given any thought to Dominick's challenge, saying that Rollins literally sacrificed his old man in front of the world and to do so to Dominick as well is ridiculous, right? Seth just smiles and walks off. We go to commercial with a reminder that SummerSlam 1992 will air tomorrow night on FS1!

Raw Underground

We return to see the uh...Raw Girls?...dancing and Shane tells them not to get out of control. He then introduces the next two opponents in his Underground event, which has Erik of the Viking Raiders taking on This Tough Kid. Not sure if that's a comment or his name. Erik spends about sixty seconds destroying This Tough Kid with suplexes and punches. He sends This Tough Kid outside to the floor, and those outside the ring act like lumberjacks, sending him back in. Erik mounts and pummels This Tough Kid until Shane tells him that's enough. Ivar congratulates Erik and Shane checks on This Tough Kid.

Announcer's Table: Update on Montez Ford

Tom shows us the end of the match, which saw Ford "hulking up" for lack of a better word before collapsing. We cut backstage to Charly Caruso, who is awaiting word outside the Doctor/Trainer's Room. Angel walks up and offers her a rose, flirting with her again. Zelina and Andrade walk up. Zelina tells "Charles" that they're all very concerned about Montez Ford as he's an amazing competitor and champion. She wonders what this means for the Raw tag titles, because come SummerSlam...

Angelo Dawkins walks out, and Charly asks him if there's any update. Dawkins says the docs told him that Montez might have been poisoned before the match. Bianca Belair steps out and gets in Zelina's face, and demands to know what they did. Zelina starts to interrupt and Bianca asks her if she st-st-st-stuttered? Bianca says we all know Zelina is the brains of this operation and she demands to know what the three of them did to her husband. Zelina says she is the brains, and starts to defend herself but Bianca attacks her. Dawkins, Andrade and Angel separate the women.

Announcer's Table, Again

We're told that they'll keep us updated on the situation (one of their employees being poisoned) and then show us footage from earlier today. We see five individuals in dark clothing and hoodies throwing what appear to be molotov cocktails at a stack of equipment. We go to commercial.

Backstage w/ Charly & The Hurt Business

Charly comes upon the Hurt Business, decked out in suits. She reminds them that MVP failed to capture the US title, Shelton lost his 24/7 title, and at this rate it's probably best Bobby didn't-- She's cut off by MVP, who insults her journalism. He says there's all kinds of crazy stuff going on at Raw, and she's questioning them about not getting it done. Shelton says that it's not a coincidence that all this strange stuff happened when they had their miscues. She mentions that Raw Underground is underground fighting, and the Hurt Business decide to go down and check it out.

Announcer's Table

Tom mentions we've got one more match in the Raw Underground tonight. We're reminded that next week, Asuka faces Bayley and gets a title shot at SummerSlam against Sasha Banks if she can prove victorious. We'll also see KO take on the RKO next week. We then cut to a video package, recapping what Seth Rollins and his Disciples have done to the Mysterio family over the last two months.

In the Ring: Seth Rollins & Murphy

Murphy and Rollins take their sweet time getting to the ring. Rollins says that before he can discuss the Mysterio situation, he has another matter to discuss. He turns to the announcer's table from the ring and addresses Tom Phillips. Someone yells "sacrifice him!" He asks Tom if he considers himself a professional, and an unbiased journalist? He climbs from the ring and asks Tom if he takes pride in his body of work and his job. Someone yells "Sacrifice him, Seth" and someone else yells "sacrifice his eye!" Seth asks Tom what was he doing last week when Rey Mysterio's kid was assaulting Seth with a kendo stick. Seth yells at Tom, saying Tom sat there, encouraging the kid. He says that Tom is the voice of Monday Night Raw and his voice matters, so he's part of the greater good whether he likes it or not. He says that what Tom says is important because what Tom says goes into the tiny little brains of the people at home. He says when Tom is unbiased like he was last week, he's doing a poor job. And if he's doing a poor job, he becomes a liability. A couple of people yell out "you suck, Tom!" Really liking this crowd. Seth then says that it's time to find a new voice of Raw, and tells Murphy to "take him."

Samoa Joe stands up and blocks Murphy and says that's not going to happen. He says that Seth can go back in the ring and make his point and go on to the back, or Joe can put them both down. Joe says that if Seth thought Tom was laughing at him last week, Joe was laughing harder. Seth tells him "Joe, you do not want to do this." Joe tells Seth he does. Seth and Murphy roll into the ring, and Seth pulls off his jacket. Joe takes off his and starts rolling his cuffs up as we go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Joe is outside the ring threatening to get in. Murphy and Rollins have chairs, yelling for him to come on. Suddenly Dominick attacks them both from behind, sending Murphy out and knocking Seth down. Seth falls across the middle rope, and Dominick hits the 619! Seth is sent from the ring and Dominick leaps to the ringside, taking out Seth and Murphy. Seth and Murphy flee up the ramp. Seth gets on the mic and says he's had enough, and accepts Dominick's challenge for SummerSlam.

Raw Underground

Backstage, Dolph is fighting another unnamed opponent. Dolph is in complete control. He pummels his opponent on the mat, eventually tapping him out. The Hurt Business shows up, and Shane lets MVP take the mic. MVP says this is Raw Underground however he has an announcement to make. Until further notice, the Hurt Business is now taking control of Raw Underground and since those there want to fight, the CEO of the Hurt Business will fight. Bobby Lashley removes his suit jacket and a rando comes in to fight him. Bobby catches him with a form of a whirling backbreaker, and clubs the man down. MVP comes in as the opponent rolls out. We see the three Raw Underground dancers, then cut back to MVP and Bobby in the ring yelling at some bystander. He yells "did you say something? What'd you say?" Shelton pushes the guy back and Lashley hauls him up onto the ring mat. MVP takes him out in half a minute and grabs a mic, yelling for who's next. Some big dude with dreads gets in, fired up, as MVP yells "Shelton, he said something about your mama!" Both men jaw with each other before Shelton tackles him to the ground. The experienced grappler keeps him down on the mat, finally rolling him out. All three members of the Hurt Business are now in the ring--MVP points at a group and says "I think he said he wants to fight," so they hop off the ring side and start beating up random people at ringside. MVP yells for more. Shane tells them that was amazing, and they've definitely proved their point. He tells them that anything goes at Raw Underground. We get replays of the randos being quickly taken apart by the Hurt Business. Shane thanks them for showing up and says he can't wait to see what happens next week. We quickly see the three dancers dancing, then MVP says "Ladies and gentlemen, we are the Hurt Business" and we end our show.

In Closing

Well, that was interesting. Love the Raw Underground segments? Hate it? Curious who the dancers are? Want to know more about the unnamed talent hanging around ringside? Well gosh darnit, don't we all! Tune in next week for more Raw Underground! Thanks to you all for showing and interacting, and looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday for NXT!
