According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon wanted a “clean sweep” for Raw at Survivor Series but there was a mix-up and “one hand forgot what the other was doing” and so the company was forced to ignore the Kick Off Show and make it not count.
The hosts then speculated that there is likely a story coming out of the lopsided results – very likely involving Shane McMahon – and that he will probably lose his mind and end up turning heel. Shane has already gone on social media to say that “changes” are coming.
