While he wasn’t in attendance for Wednesday night’s edition of NXT On USA, it was announced that Mauro Ranallo will return to the announce desk for next week’s show at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
As seen last night, Ranallo missed NXT On USA this week as was widely reported going into the show.
Tom Phillips replaced Ranallo alongside Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuinness, however they noted that they are looking forward to welcoming Mauro back next week.
WWE did not give any explanation for Ranallo missing the show and they haven’t said anything apart from a brief mention on the WWE Survivor Series PPV stating that he blew out his voice at TakeOver.
