— The WWE women’s division and specifically the company’s tag team landscape has suffered another significant blow. TMZ is reporting that one half of the women’s tag team champions – Sonya Deville – has suffered what is believed to be a torn ACL that will sidelined her indefinitely. The story also notes that Deville will undergo surgery tomorrow to fix her knee and we assume once surgeons go in, the full extent of the damage will be known.

— TMZ further reports that WWE sources confirmed that Deville tore the ACL on the July 28 episode of Friday Night Smackdown in a tag team match against Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair and that the company is going to address the status of the tag team titles tonight on Monday Night Raw. If true and if WWE is forced to vacate the titles, it would be the second time in three months that this has happened as Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan previously were forced to vacate the championships after an injury to Morgan.
