One of WWE NXT’s newest and top stars could see a significant change in direction for her character in the near future.

Newly signed WWE star Blake Monroe (formerly Mariah May) in AEW made her debut amid major fanfare with WWE introducing her as a babyface that saw her popularity skyrocket. However, fightfulselect.com reports that the seeds are already planted for a heel turn and run for Monroe.

The report adds that the turn has been discussed internally within creative but there is no word on specifically when that could happen but that it is believed to be in the “near future” and that long-term plans for Monroe are already in place after her debut last month.
