It’s unclear if Ronda Rousey will be back on TV for WWE’s Smackdown debut on FOX in October.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, as of last month the plan for Rousey was that if she wanted to come back, it would not be for a one-off show.
Instead she would be working a part-time limited schedule and be booked as an “attraction” sort of like Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Undertaker, etc.
WWE may still change their mind and use her on the FOX debut especially if they feel her star power is needed on a show that will essentially be all-hands-on deck.
Ultimately, whether Rousey comes back or not depends on if she and her husband move ahead with their plans to have kids and start a family, which she has gone on record to state is her next goal in life.
